This is a delightful well stocked store with friendly staff. They have dry goods and convenience foods, but also a cooler of fresh fruits and veggies, lots of fresh dairy, bread from several bakeries, water jugs, and even some hardware store supplies.This is my default store when at the lake. Love it here.

Saffies General Store
Just a wonderful little place, even if you want to Sunday afternoon drive from the city. I enjoyed the large wooden patio under a big tree with a few small tables. Lounged most of the afternoon reading and writing. I will do it again, maybe frequently. And it’s easy to fall in love with the attention they pay to the history of the place. The perfect white sand of the beach is a three minute walk away. Hidden Manitoba gem.

Saffies General Store
Great little store. Closest place to find great produce and other fresh fruit. Masks still mandatory but the number of customers has expanded allowed inside. Great collection of fresh baked goods. A few tables outside allow regulars to pick up a cup of coffee and sit outside.
