What an amazing place for the community to have. Its a pay what you can thrift store, taking donations of cash/credit/debit and volunteer time to reinvest in this community hub. They have shoes, books, bags, clothes, scarves & plants! As well as food for those in need. All sourced from donations! They also have naloxone on site! They have many plans for the future to make this a hub for the vulnerable populations and I'm excited to see all Good Neighbor does in the next couple of months.

Fantastic initiative, genuinely helping support the community. The only downside is their availability for donation drop offs. They are volunteer run so they have minimal open hours but they also have not provided a drop box or after hours donation container so that people can continue to support them with donations outside of their minimal open hours. It’s unfortunate because I know a lot of people who would like to support this initiative but it’s just not feasible to drop stuff off between 11-5 a couple days a week. Would love more options to donate

I haven't been inside yet but I am impressed by the initiative. Very good idea that warms my heart. Keep up the good work.

Good Neighbour is a wonderful place to shop, volunteer, and donate! It's staffed by friendly and compassionate volunteers, and works hard to make sure that there's enough to go around. It's proof that a little kindness and generosity, in the form of donationed goods and time, can go a long way towards making the community better and brighter.

Really nice to see places like this that help people with a “Pay what you want” model. Please bring donations here instead of Value Village (for profit which doesn’t help the community).

This place is an excellent charity they take donations of clothing shoes books toys women's accessory as well as men's children's clothing plus they take donations for personal items for men and women toiletry stuff plus they take donations for toilet paper what is individually wrapped women's sanitary napkins you name it they also take donations for food dry foods like canned pasta you name it they also take donations for frozen foods juice boxes cheese whatever kind of food that goes in the fridge they also take donations of plant-based milk applesauce snacks whatever food you can donate this place also takes all the stuff you donate set it up in this little shop for people to come who have next to nothing you go in you get what you need and you pay what you can all the money goes back in this charity it is excellent I just heard about it last week from my neighbor so she took me down there I also am on low income so this is an excellent place for me they take donations for reusable bags plus grocery bags from any stores to help customers carry their stuff home so if you have any accessories or anything you can donate to this place would be excellent and if you need an extra help in food clothing or even toys books or personal items go check out this place all the personal items are have never been opened or used as well as the food even if you have makeup you have never used before or ever opened they will take it I highly recommend this place for donation or for someone you know who needs an extra help they're only open 3 days a week so I highly recommend again check it out or donate. Good neighbor is an excellent charity ☺️

Great concept of pay-what-you-want thrift store! They have clothes, shoes, plants, toys, books, groceries and food! This is a good place and refuge for homeless and underprivileged people to get what they need, without any judgement and unlawful activity. Please DONATE or VOLUNTEER!! We need more of this in Calgary!

Good initiative, but very poor variety to choose from, so even one-time visit was too much for me. If you’re looking to buy something that actually makes sense - that’s not the best place for thrifting.More looks like a random variety of goods that no one actually needs.

This is the first and only non-profit I've encountered in the four years I've spent trying to access social services in this city. And I cannot favour the establishment enough. DOAP team, etc. are great, but this is the only place in the entire city where I get the impression that good people are doing whatever they can think of to not only help people who need help, but address the crushing issue of homelessness in Calgary. It's weird. But the Force is with this one.

The concept itself is great but I'm not sure why they force you to wear masks when it hasn't been mandated since last year.
