Walmart Supercentre

This is the 3rd time I've purchased a product from here and it's been rotten. Smart mouth at the desk told me to take it up with the manufacturer. Thanks for the useless solution Failmart.

Huge spill in woman’s washroom - told front door man and he rolled his eyes, basically laughed and said tell customer service. I said why should I have to do that? Not to mention his badge says “customer experience” - there was a guy in orange vest who said no and listened to me but that’s ridiculous. What is your purpose? Really need to train people better. He didn’t even say anything to me until I walked away annoyed - like okay?

I have dealt here for years for my glasses, and have gotten great Professional service. I bought 2 pairs of glasses to months ago from Ike, service was 5 stars from him. My complaint is, I have been in twice to have my glasses adjusted Ike was not on that day so dealt with both of the ladies there.. They definitely need training as i left with my glasses in worse shape then when I came in, the 2 ladies get the 1 star. I could not comeback a nother day as I was leaving on holidays.Came back in to day to get Ike to fix them properly. Thanks Ike for the Professional service.

Snigdha, who is working in the Technology section at Walmart Langford, was really helpful in picking a prepaid sim for a family visitor. She listened to our needs, analyzed different options for cost effectiveness before recommending one for my relative. She was very friendly and informative as well. This 5 star for Walmart is only for hiring such awesome people. Otherwise this branch of Walmart is frequently out of stock in most items.

Went in this evening to purchase a couple household things and went through the transaction no problem. Until we got home later and realized we could not find the wallet. After 7 calls all of which the customer service representative hung up without even acknowledging the phone. Simply picking it up and hanging it back immediately. They then proceeded to leave us on hold on the 8th can beyond closing time with no hope to find our lost item. All we wanted was to ask if one had been turned in but they wouldn't even allow us the courtesy

Even knowing the typical Walmart" style of operation

Employees are very nice and friendly. Price is pretty similar compares to those in Great Vancouver. Free parking lot is available. Open till very late, which is good since many stores nearby are closed early. Public washroom is available. Credit cards accepted. Self check out is available. Overall experience is good.Cost efficient for the most part, however, stock appears to be an issue. The last few shopping experiences, the store was out of some basics. Shelves were bare especially in the pharmacy.

How is Amrit still working here? I wasn't going to type a review but came on here to say something and coincidencenlly saw the review posted before this is praising the employee Amrit. I disagree. This is the 4th or 5th time I've had him at checkout and had to say something. No, he's not rude or mean in any way. I'll start with that. BUT he's extremely slow. To the point where he will stop scanning your items, just to strike up conversation. He does this with every customer, so be prepared to wait for your turn. Just out of curiosity I timed how long he took to finish serving the customer in front of me and it was a little over 7 minutes. Sorry but that's not ok. Someone on staff need to train him how to multitask instead of completely stopping his scanning to tell us about his weekend plans. It's extremely frustrating when he's the only one working the tills and it's a line of 3 or 4 people waiting. It ends up taking forever, and people start going to the self checkout. He seems to have been working there for a long time as I regularly see him working. I always dread when I have a bigger order because I know I'll be waiting. Again, he's not mean or anything, but considering how long he's been working there, it got to the point I had to say something. Newer staff literally go 3 times the speed WHILE chatting you up.. Amrit, work on the pace.

Another trip to find, not a whole lotta good prices. Use to be a go-to everything store. That was before, food went up 12% or more, and corporate greed not honing in cost to customers. 2 for products are a joke, and produce is starting to look ugly too. You can tell when supply chains and distribution are hurting, causing the shelves to have 1 item spread out 10 times and harder-to-find items to be higher priced. All in all, we utilize a variety of local options for shopping needs, and rarely shop for quality or quantity at Walmart any longer. Don't imagine prices getting any better as America will soon be in a war economy and China closing a lot of doors, because of the war in Europe, and forthcoming sanctions. Start growing as much you can

amrit is the best. talked to my mom and i the whole time we were in the checkout. he's funny and rlly personable! best experience here so far. #giveamritaraise
