Super 8 by Wyndham Williams Lake BC

Our family came in to Williams Lake to mourn the passing of a special child. Didn't know what to expect. Super8 seems old but not here. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Linens soft and fresh as were the pillows and mattress. Like any motel. Breakfast was Alot, we thought a muffin and coffee,nope they have a wonderfull assortment. They also tolerated maybe a bit of noise rrom us because we were visiting each other and there was 50 us.Don't hesitate. This IS a good place to stay, and not expensive with the extras.

Sarah, Miranda and all the staff at this hotel are the friendliest and most accommodating people you’re likely to find. I stayed here for 2 long term stays for work. While here the staff kept my room clean and tidy and went the extra mile to spend time with my pup while I was at work. The hotel does need an update as others have mentioned but for the price of your stay and the quality of the staff it’s worth the compromise. I know Mojo will miss the staff and we will definitely stop in on our way through again.

They ask you to be environmentally conscious. And then they wrap everything in saran wrsp. Ridiculous to the point of wrapping two slices of bread as a seeving.bagels individually wrapped ect..

Dilapidated building. Friendly staff. Horrible Beds. If you have back issues, find another place. Decent continental breakfast.

First of all, they have pet rooms for $10 extra a night. Quite reasonable. Brought my Shephard. Big plus. Secondly, the room was very dated, bathroom was dark, shower head was in dire need of a cleaning with some CLR.Price was right.Breakfast was self serve, Pre packed French toast, omelettes, pancakes etc. If you can microwave it, its available. Muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, bagels, cookies, granola bars, yogurt, and cereal. Breakfast area is directly (oddly) as soon as you walk in at reception.Fire alarm started beeping at 336am our first night, it went down to -32c so I'm guessing the cold screwed it up. Didn't get fixed until after 7am.No discount on OUR stay, but I heard while I was eating breakfast that someone else got a discount due to no sleep as well. That annoyed me. Just cause I've prepaid I don't feel I should have gotten the shaft.Might stay here again due to dog room and a pretty good free breakfast, but, the Ramada was also dog friendly, they have a hot tub and breakfast-to-go (not as good) for a few dollars more. Room was bigger and nicer too.

The room is older, definitely needs updating, but clean. I was thrilled with the front desk. I called and reserved a room before arriving. I spoke with Christine, I made it very clear I needed the J-1772 electric vehicle charger they have on site. She said, “no problem.” I arrived and it was in use. There was no way I could continue since I arrived at such a low state of charge. She contacted the owner of the vehicle who said he was nearly full and I had permission to unplug his vehicle. She moved her car so I could access the plug, I got my charge. I was thrilled with out it all worked out. Thanks to Christine, Super8, as well as an another EV owner. Everyone was kind and amazing.

Needs an elevator. Hard for elderly to do all the stairs.There was hairs on the sheets under the blankets.

The rooms were great. No problems. The staff was very helpful when looking for a restaurant.

Excellent service.Rooms are a good size for family to couples; the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is good size.

Stay was below expectation. They do housekeeping way too early, had a housekeeper knock 2 mornings at 9am, as well as a housekeeper walk in at 9am without knocking and turned on the lights and while we were trying to get a sleep in. If you want a sleep in be sure to have the do not disturb handle on the door or maybe reception should mention they do servicing earlier than other hotels. Then even on our check out morning we had someone knock and come in 2 hours before checkout time!?!? They should know we are a departing room and wait until checkout time before coming in. Aircon made loud noises which wernt normal and could hear every step of the room above us.
