I've been looking for another ICBC broker so I decided to give this place a try. The lady that helped me add my son to the car policy was fantastic!Things quilkly fell apart when I wanted to ask if there's a GVW my F450 may need inspection. A genteman with more experience was bought up. Without asking the rate class, he told me that since it was over 5000kg it needed National Saftey Code Inspection. I said that's not right because the NSC doesn't apply to vehicles rated for pleasure use. He didn’t like my answer so he turned around and walked away.Too bad the fantastic work by one person can be wrecked so easily by another.

With the rising cost of insurances I decided to get a second opinion upon my renewal. I reached out to Sheila Fox from Maxxam Insurance Services, in Burnaby, who saved us a substantial amount on our Company's insurance and then asking her to review my home insurance and rentals also.Sheila was very thorough in her questions, by making sure i was properly insured for not only my condo, but for the rentals also, as I had undergone renovations in the past and she quoted accordingly.Not only did Sheila save me money again, with her level of expertise and knowledge in her field, but its the peace of mind that you can't put a price on. Had a fantastic visit today from Ritesh Mittal. He jumped over to Langley Mazda on a weekend to help us out on his own accord. Very helpful, swift and resourceful. He helped keep my insurance costs down while making sure I had complete coverage. Highly recommend!

I highly reccomend asking for Sheila when looking for an insurance agent at Maxxam Insurance Burnaby. She provided me with excellent service for my home and car insurance. Very knowledgeable in explaining exactly what was covered and what was truly needed. Got great rates on both and I feel secure knowing things are properly insured. The office is conveniently located but she is easy to reach on the phone and has even come to me.

The lady talked to me like I was some sort of insurance expert and wanted me to answer all these questions that I had no idea about about different technicalities, about different dates of things from five years ago and different types of insurance all to get a quote and I had no idea, plus then apparently she messed up and did not put a declared value on my vehicle and made a big deal about it but said she couldn't do anything and it means that ICBC will pay me only the book value on my vehicle and she said she couldn't fix it or do anything about it. I don't know. I felt stupid after coming out of there plus I was super stressed.I do not recommend this place

I got the worst service ever today! The person working on a Sunday April 30th 2023 is absolutely the worst. She has very little knowledge of the service she is meant to provide and just caused a huge deal of frustration and unnecessary cost. I'm so upset, as I've never received such terrible service at Maxxam.
