Jesse Phipps Guitar and Music Lessons

Absolutely INCREDIBLE teacher and clearly very dedicated in what he does.I have taken lessons with Jesse for only 4 months thus far and noticed a massive improvement in my playing. Prior to taking lessons with Jesse, I was taking lessons with another instructor for months and self learning songs online, and improved only minimally during that time. I am not exaggerating when I say that a single lesson with Jesse is equivalent to like a month of lessons with other instructors or online learning. Each class is structured and challenging; he will continually push you to do things that seem impossible at first but become very doable in the course of a few weeks. He is also incredibly perceptive so will correct mistakes that are hard to catch – like muting strings, how you are picking, etc. He is very patient and chill, so you do not feel stupid for making mistakes when learning.Jesse goes way above and beyond than other teachers. I have had to cancel classes or have run really late to class, rather than charging me to compensate the lost time (which is the standard practice at other schools) or getting agitated, Jesse will actually go out of his way to make up the lost time without charging a fee for the cancellation.I would highly recommend Jesse. 100% worth the money. He has made me really love playing guitar. An added bonus: he is a super awesome dude to chat with.

Have been taking jazz guitar lessons with Jesse for several months now and I highly recommend him! He's very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. His lessons strike a balance between theory and practice that's both challenging and fun. I also appreciate his flexibility in scheduling.

Jesse has been my guitar teacher since December, and I have improved so much from his lessons. I see him once a week. He's a pretty chill and nice guy and he is flexible with meeting times. I feel like my development and my improvement on guitar would be different if I had just learned by myself with online resources.

I am so grateful of finding Jesse to be my son's guitar teacher after searching for a long time. He is very patient and his class is well structured. I can tell my son is improving with a more solid foundation. Great teacher!

Jesse was great! Got in for a couple hour sessions while I was on vacation. Gave me a lot of good blues knowledge! I’ll def it return!!

If you are on the fence about taking guitar lessons do yourself a favor and do it! I'm so glad I reached out to Jesse and wish I had done it sooner. He has been a revelation to my guitar playing.I was self taught for many years on the guitar and never really pushed myself to get better. Since taking lessons with Jesse he has been a wealth of information for the guitar, all of which is transferable to any genre you want to play. Lessons are structured while also being tailored to what you are looking to get out of classes.Can't recommend enough!
