My wife and I have a black belt in worrying. Building a house is daunting for us, especially doing it remotely. However, Longman proved to be great people who do even greater work. They are genuine, nice people who are extremely customer-service focused. Right from the get-go it was clear they have the experience, track record and insight into building houses on the Coast. They made sure we were always connected to the process. We've actually built two homes: one five blocks from where we lived; one a ferry ride away. Longman proved to be the most pleasant, rewarding and worry-free experience of the two.

Purchased a newly build Townhouse from Longman Development's a year ago. After a year in the home, as was agreed in the contract and as is standard for new homes, they followed up to see if there were any issues requiring repair or that other wise needed to be dealt with. In spite of many courteous follow ups we were hard pressed to find things needing fixing. Once we did, they quickly fixed the small dry wall cracks. Overall very happy with the quality of the build, the value of the home, their service and attentiveness and to know that they live in and are so committed to our community.

We could not be happier with our experience with Longman. Dave has a great team that are all about integrity. We felt very well looked after and that we never had anything to worry about. Great communication from beginning to end. And of course we love our new home - it is more beautiful and comfortable that we had ever imagined it would be! So thankful to have had our home built by Longman.

The Longman team from beginning to end was a pleasure to work with. They made the process of building our house easy, with a step by step plan, clear timelines and clear communication throughout. We really appreciated the honest feedback and suggestions when we asked for advice. Everyone on the team and all the contractors cared about their craft and took pride in their work. They were considerate and always willing to discuss and make tweaks or changes when we needed it. They have been consistently responsive after the build as well fixing small deficiencies. We are beyond happy with our custom home and if we ever build again we would use Longman. They actually deserve 10 stars!

We signed on with Longman to do the site work for our 2,000 sf modular home in Roberts Creek. Initially this was just supposed to be foundation, drainage, septic and a deck but, because the modular builder we used is inept, Longman ended up managing the entire installation process after delivery. This included the final roofing work, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, gutters, hardscaping, waterline replacement, and so on. The modular home came with numerous deficiencies that the modular builder seemed to be unable to address. Longman stepped in and worked with us and the trades to fix these to the extent possible. Without fail their crews have been friendly and hardworking. Their project management is outstanding and highly professional.They are solution oriented and budget conscious. If we could do it again we'd build from scratch with Longman.
