I truly cannot express my sincere gratitude for Candace and Charles of Walk with Gus. From our first in home assessment I knew Walk with Gus was the right choice for our family. Candace and Charles are professional, compassionate, reliable and genuine. The care and effort integrating our beloved Koa into their dog walking group was methodically planned matching the personally traits and safety of all the dogs. What Walk with Gus does best is communicating. The little notes they leave after every visit are very cute and informative. The most important thing is that they really care for your pet like their own. If you are looking for a dog walking service, Walk with Gus is by far the best in Durham.

When we were looking for a dog walker who could handle our leash reactive, anxious, people reactive, and noise sensitive, Lulu, our trainer at the time immediately thought of Walk with Gus. She felt that Candice and Charles would be a great resource for us and she was right.Candice and Charles worked with Lulu for over two months to build trust and a relationship with her before she was out on walks with them. She was introduced to other dogs at Lulu’s pace and was never pushed to do anything she wasn’t comfortable with. Lulu has gone from barking at Candice and Charles when she first met them, to so relaxed when she is picked up that she doesn’t always wake up at walk time (lol). We trust Walk with Gus completely with our fur baby and cannot recommend them highly enough.
