- We went to Congee Queen and I was super curious when I saw that sounded like a Filipino Bakery" and yes... unfortunately

Not a Filipino baked goods pro, but the pandesal was quite delicious!I got the cheaper day old batch and it was still nice and soft. Loved that little layer of filling that comes with every bite inside the ube & pandan pandesal. A nice little touch.Service was decent as they knew what their pricing was as I didn’t experience what some others stated, luckily. However, I did find it a little pricey, but would always consider any baked goods a treat!A very nice addition to centerpoint mall!Great job overall!Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!

I dont think ive ever tried filipino sweets but on the way back from the gym we stopped here and bought a few things. They were all very delicious. Its a little overpriced for me but we got a few things we thought were fair and we weren't disappointed at all

I went online to get the name of this place for a friend and I'm so upset seeing 1 star reviews!! I really like this place and they are always nice and I'm happy to pay fair prices for their baked goods. One time when I came in to buy some macaroons the cashier was so lovely and explained all the different baked goods I'd never tried or heard of before, and then let us try fresh baked macaroons still warm out of the oven in every flavour and it was one of the nicest in store experiences I've had in a long long time. She was so nice.Their coconut macaroons are my favourite macaroons I've had because they're not too sweet and have a wonderful buttery taste. They're moist and more cake like than what I've tried elsewhere, and I think it's a massive improvement. To be honest, I didn't really like that style of macaroon until I tried the ones in this bakery. Some other thing they make (mostly things with fillings) are a little too sweet for my liking, but that's okay because I'll still keep coming back just for the macaroons and the occasional other treat.

I initially have 5 stars for this review 3 months ago. Today I went here to buy red velvet pandesal and boy was I disappointed. I was going to purchase a pack of 8 pandesal with a price tag of $4.49. When I got to the counter to pay, the attendant said it’s $25! I said well it says $4.49 and he just said someone put the wrong price.Mind you this is right after they opened on Monday afternoon with two packs of red velvet left on the shelf both with a tag of $4.49. How would that be a mistake when it probably was made over the weekend and nobody complained or pointed out the price was wrong? If I wasn’t paying attention I was just gon tap my card and go.So if you want to try this place, confirm the price before you pay. You might get charged a higher price than what is on their packaging if you’re not paying attention.

The actual name of the bakery is rather long: Tinapayan and other baked goods. Tinapay means bread in Filipino, but perhaps non-Filipinos may not know this, thus (I suspect) the longer name which explains what else they offer. They specialize in different kinds of Filipino breads such as flavoured pandesal, pan de coco (containing coconut), and Spanish bread rolls (filled with custard). Their bread is baked fresh. There was a generous amount of ube cheese, and creamy pandan paste in the respective pandesal rolls. Although I enjoyed the flavours of ube cheese and buko pandan, perhaps because of the generous amount of filling, they were a bit sweet for my taste. Although also sweet, hubby and I enjoyed the pan de coco, as perhaps the texture and nuttiness of the coconut offset some of the sweetness for us.They also sell iced coffees, iced teas, bubble tea, gulaman at sago (Filipino brown sugar flavoured drink with tapioca and agar or seaweed based gelatin), and halo halo (Filipino dessert crushed ice dessert often made with a mixture of ingredients such as sweetened beans, coconut jelly, ube, and condensed or evaporated milk; $11.99). Unique offerings are also available such as ube oat milk smoothie and ube cheese smoothie. I didn't get a chance to try any of the drinks as they were minutes from closing. Despite this, the staff were friendly and helpful in answering any questions I posed of them.Definitely recommend checking them out!

Overprized and disappointing! I walk in because it was just beside the restaurant that we had dinner today. I thought there was a mistakeon their pricing, package of 8 ensyamada is $14.99 and there was another package of 8 ensaymada which was price for $21.99! I got the $14.99 to try expecting something special with maybe pineapple inside but disappointed that it was just plain with margarine and lots of sugar on top! I don’t recommend thos store! I would rather go to Alminz or Harina, freshly baked goods and very reasonable price!
