I used At Your Table Catering for my wife's 40th birthday party. Everyone there commented on how good the food was and the presentation. Kate was great to work with on the planning. The service at the event was exceptional too. Highly recommend!

Having Kate in our home for a private dinner to celebrate a bachelorette was an incredible experience from start to finish. Kate created an evening for us that was better than I could have ever imagined. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin and grilled peach salad. Kate is punctual, organized and has great communication. Her knowledge of the industry and cooking background is very impressive. We really enjoyed Kate sharing a brief overview of each dish she made. Kate’s incredible cooking and friendly personality made our dinner experience so memorable. And to top it off, she cleans and doesn’t leave a crumb behind! We were almost as amazed with her cleaning skills as we were her cooking. Kate is a phenomenal chef. I highly recommend Kate for all your cooking needs. I can’t wait to have Kate back in my home for another amazing dinner! Thank you Kate!

Kate did an amazing job for our celebration of my son's graduation. Everyone loved the food, including the gluten free options for one of the guests. It was all delicious and nicely presented. Kate took care of everything: setup, dishes, cooking, serving, and clean-up. There was nothing left for us to do. We love having Chef Kate prepare dinner parties in our home. She creates a relaxing atmosphere and has a strong ability to read the room and support a tone that matches the feel of the event. We were hosting a FUN dinner party with friends. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything flowed perfectly! Overall, an amazing evening!

We hired Kate for our intimate wedding in June 2021 and it was one of the best decisions we made! I have quite a few dietary restrictions and she was so easy to work with on creating a menu that worked for us including some special dishes for me. She provides everything and does all the clean up so you can literally just sit back and enjoy your evening. We created a custom 4 course menu and the food was 20/10 amazing (our family is still raving about it)! Kate was such a great presence to have around on our wedding day too - so friendly and has a great energy. She was there if you needed anything but isn't in your space. If you're looking for a chef for any event we HIGHLY recommend Kate!

A big thank you to you and your team Kate for providing a wonderful 5 course tasting dinner for my sweet baby's 50th Bday! The short rib melted in my mouth and your home made squash ravioli with stuffed lobster were so tasty! We are looking forward to our next party with you. We need to try more of your yummy appies.

Kate was amazing! She was very accommodating to several dietary restrictions for a group of 10. The food was all flawless in preparation and absolutely cooked to perfection. She even made a special birthday cake that was scrumptious and the perfect end to the meal. My only mistake was not ordering a larger size to ensure I had another piece the next day!

This was my first time hiring a private chef and the experience did not disappoint! Chef Kate prepared a delicious birthday dinner for me and my family. The process was super easy - her communication was great, she helped me select my perfect menu, then she came in served us an amazing 6 course meal and then cleaned up everything at the end of the dinner. She even accommodated one guest with a special vegan menu. The cost is super reasonable, on par with going out for a nice dinner, plus you can serve your own drinks. Highly recommend trying a private chef for your next special occasion - and in particular, At Your Table Catering!

I hired At Your Table/Chef Kate as an in home dining experience for my wife's birthday.The experience was amazing and I would recommend At Your Table without hesitation. Below is an overview of my experience:The planning:Chef Kate responded quickly to my initial inquiry. She provided me with a menu she had recently created for the spring, but also offered to make me a custom menu that suited the tastes of the group. The custom menu was awesome. Some really cool/unique items. There were also some nice touches added on, like a printed menu with our names and a happy birthday message.The services:In my research of other in home fine dining services, none compared to what At Your Table offered for the same value. We had a 5 course meal, with all plates/glasses/cutlery provided. As well as linens. She also brought along a server which took the experience to another level. Quick shoutout to Mikela, our server. The service was better than you receive at a restaurant. She was really attentive to keeping our drinks full, provided wine suggestions, always served the birthday girl first, and was friendly. She also took photos of the group for us. Thanks Mikela!The event:I am very happy with how the event turned out. Chef Kate was great to have around. Energetic and friendly, and clearly really passionate about her profession. While she was preparing our food, we hovered around a bit and watched the process. Asked questions. Learned a bit about her background, etc. Throughout the entire evening, Chef Kate and Mikela were cleaning dishes and keeping the kitchen looking nice. By the end of the last course, our kitchen was spotless, and Chef Kate and Mikela left our group to enjoy the rest of the night.Perhaps the most important part - The food:The food was incredible. We've experienced many of Vancouvers iconic restaurants, and I can say without exaggeration that this food was as good, if not better, and I'd lean towards better. Having it cooked in front of your eyes, and explained to you by the chef really elevates the experience and makes you appreciate it more.We had an appetizer, a salad, a pasta, a main and a dessert. Each course was unique. Amazing flavour profiles, great mix of textures, unique preparation, and perfect portion sizes.We have found that at many restaurants, the dessert course tends to feel like an afterthought to the rest of the courses and is usually not particularly memorable. However chef Kate's dessert she made for us was one of the best I have ever had.The presentation of the plates was also really nice. Our guests and my wife were raving about the food all night, and I even heard from some of them still talking about it the next day.Overall, this will be a top memory/experience for my wife and I for a long time. I'd highly encourage you to use this service. You won't regret it.
