Alice Lake Provincial Park
We had an amazing day. The water wasn't cold (but the wind made it hard to get out of the water). They allow charcoal bbqs there. It was a holiday but there were always some park rangers coming to clean and take the trash out. There were so many picnic tables, we didn't have to fight for one. It's a great place to spend a sunny hot day in the summer.

Alice Lake Provincial Park
Beautiful campsite. Well maintained. Nice hiking trails whether it be around the lake or on the longer 6.5km trek. There are no dogs allowed in or around Alice Lake, and they must comply with regulations regarding this. You are allowed to have your dog at your campsite. I'm walking on certain trails, but they are quite explicit. Washrooms are clean, well maintained, and the outhouses have clear roofs for natural light, and are well-vented and don't smell.

Cozy and beautiful lake, good for family with young children. Picnic tables under trees, boat rentals and safe swim area. Good walk around the lake. Also camping site. Perfect..

Alice Lake Provincial Park
Alice Lake is a wonderful destination for families looking to enjoy some time outdoors not too far from Vancouver. The lake is located in a stunning setting, surrounded by trees and mountains, making it the perfect place to enjoy a variety of water activities during the summer months.Visitors can bring their own kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft to explore the lake and take in the beautiful scenery. The water is clean and clear, and there are plenty of areas for swimming and playing in the water.During the other seasons, Alice Lake is a great spot for picnicking and relaxing with family and friends. There are plenty of picnic tables and other amenities, making it easy to spend a day enjoying the outdoors. One of the only drawbacks to Alice Lake is the lack of parking during the summer months. The lot can fill up quickly, so it's best to arrive early or carpool if possible. However, the park is well-maintained and organized, with plenty of signage and helpful staff to guide you along the way.Overall, I highly recommend Alice Lake for anyone looking for a family-friendly outdoor experience not too far from Vancouver. Whether you're looking to enjoy water activities during the summer or picnicking and relaxing during the other seasons, this park has something for everyone. The stunning location and abundance of amenities make it a true gem in British Columbia's park system.

Alice Lake Provincial Park
Beautiful lake in squamish, with lots of space for camping and spending time at the beach and on the lake. Nice breeze during the summer months and very few mosquitoes compared to most campsites. Bathrooms are quite clean and well maintained, as well as trails and picnic tables. However, many areas on the beach do not allow dogs, so make sure to lookout for areas that allow dogs if you bring them.

Friendly park staff, firewood for purchase on site (cheaper than gas stations), washrooms were clean, showers were hot. And you might get to see a bear...

Alice Lake Provincial Park
It is a cute little provincial park in Squamish. We booked it last minute as the ones we hope for was fully booked. This one is about 1 hour away from downtown Vancouver, 30mins from Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal and 30mins away from Whistler village. The park attendants were wonderful and friendly and the facilities (washroom and showers) are very clean and updated! Coming from Ontario, I have never seen a campsite that well taken care off. Only words of caution is: 1) it is hard to find when it is dark at night, 2) they used gravel for the campground… my car (not a SUV) got stuck on a slope and it was not fun to get out of, 3) we went in early October (rainy season) so a car tent was much more practical.

We stopped by without a reservation on a Sunday night. Campground was shown as full, but they actually did have walk- in sites available when we asked. Happy we could snag a last- minute spot!Recommend doing the four lakes trail while you’re there!
