We have excellent service from our property management agent, Julie Bumby. She is amazing! She can answer almost any question you ask with regard to the Strata Act and her knowledge of property management policies is excellent. She has a wide range of experience in dealing with various strata and issues that have arisen over the years so her guidance and suggestions are most helpful. Julie's response time to emails is fantastic and she works very hard for her clients. We are most impressed and grateful for her service!

I have dealt with Teamwork for 4 years: 1.5 as an owner and 2.5 as a strata member. When I was just an owner, I found them quick and responsive, and they relayed my requests to strata and sent me their response very quick, often same-day.As a Strata council member, our agent has been very knowledgable in what we can, can't, should, and shouldn't do. They act as the funnel for interactions between strata council and owners, and handle everything in a structured, systematic, procedural manner that empowers owners and council.Their costs are also really affordable considering all you get: secretarial duties, treasurer duties, and someone to walk you through the strata act. For the cost we pay, there is no way we could afford to hire one person outright to do everything we get from Teamwork.I can't recommend them enough. I was a bit apprehensive to buy into a strata, and also apprehensive to be on council, but working with Teamwork has been really, really good and alleviated any apprehension I had.

I used to work for the lawyer who was instrumental in setting up condos in the 70's. I also worked for over 30 years as a conveyancing paralegal so I have a fairly good background in this area.When I moved to this province in 2019, I was asked to become a council member for our strata complex. It took me the first year to familiarize myself with the different procedures between Strata and condominiums, as well as provincial legislation.In my previous profession I dealt with a lot of condo council issues of which a fair amount of them came about as a result of self-serving owners and incompetent management companies. Needless to say I was a little adverse to becoming a council member. Fortunately, Julie Bumby of Teamwork Management has been an excellent guide on my journey in discovering what cannot/should not be done in order to avoid conflicts. Julie is a professional, well-informed and well versed in how to assist owners in their positions as council members while maintaining a congenial manner. She also has a wealth of knowledge and healthy business relationships with tradespeople that is invaluable. I would not want to be on a strata council without Julie's kind of management style in place. I will give Julie Anne Bumby license # 159100 credit for her knowledge, although when it’s an error on her part she will not take responsibility, she will deflect. If you make a mistake own it. Also, when she tells you something then you challenge it, and ask her to provide policy, regulations, or actual information from a company she does not respond to the email. When challenged for a response she goes about establishing a council quorum which then becomes a dead issue.On a few numerous occasions she has sent documents that belong to other properties. Double check your work before you hit send.Teamworks now has a parent company, they are doing less for more.If you have serious complaints they can be directed to The BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA).

Council should not waste time with this company. They are extremely unorganized! Management is nonexistent. There is zero accountability. Do not engage! They will not offer you any guidance when ask. They could not help with a simple maintenance plan. The manger didn’t know how to handle a minor a vehicle impact claim. I personally would recommend switching company’s asap and definitely would not recommend signing a new contract with them.

I have lived in a complex managed by Teamwork for the past 14 years. During this time my opinion of Teamwork has changed. Initially, the agent and the overall service were very good to excellent. Since the acquisition by a much larger company, there has been a decline in the quality of the services provided.

This is by far the worst Strata Management Company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT CONSIDER USING THEM.Most Antequated Company ever. There is no website to start with. The Manager assigned to my complex is lazy and knows very little about the laws she is bound by. The contract we signed with the company states the strata manager will Take direction from Council" This is a huge farce. She refuses to do as she asks and refuses to work with the council in the manner they would like.Requests by owners are put off and approval sometimes takes Six weeks and even then owners are not contacted they have to wait to find out in the strata meeting minutes. I could go on and on……..JUST DON’T!!!!!!!!!"

If it could be negative I would do it. Our council is corrupt and the this management is well aware of it. Instead of doing the right thing they cut off the legal rights of the strata owners.
