I bought a jersey from Vancity last week. Great experience.I understand why people have complained about the owner but I don't think they are seeing the full picture. I had a lovely chat with him for about 20 minutes. The reason he is requiring masks and limited numbers of people in his store is due to the fact that he is immunocompromised, the reason the store is locked is because theft has become rampant in the neighbourhood -- 16 breakins on that block in the last year alone. I found him to be a very nice man with very reasonable and easy-to-accommodate requests for his own safety.

My experience with the owner was lovely. Super friendly. Had lots of selections and was very accommodating even though half of the store was packed, as he’s moving to a new location in Richmond. I can understand why he’s cautious as well, having had his business broken into 16 times in 9 months and having had his fellow business neighbour assaulted by losers looking for cash. Anyone having had gone through what he has would be equally as cautious. Either way, looking forward to visiting the new location once it opens next month.

So sad I have to write this review. I shopped at this man's store for many years. I think the recent events and maybe some events he suffered at his other location have damaged his ability to conduct business in a professional and courteous manner. I made an appointment, only to have a follow-up question as to which item I'd directly be there to purchase. My reply was that my son and I would come in and look over their selection (as I have been doing all these years) and make a selection at that time. Didn't get a confirmation of the appointment I made to come in and spend a few bucks.... instead got an 'I will let you know'.Naw buddy, I'm gonna let you know with this one-star review. And with the money I spend at another (much friendlier and more receptive to browsing customers) vendor.Sad as I said. End of an era. People have been complimenting the hats I purchased from this man for years and I always told them where he was and to check him out. Hope you get your head together, fella.

Absolute best selection of sportswear in Vancouver, hands down. Huge selection of Canucks hats. The owner (John) is taking great care due to covid which I appreciated and respect. Had a good chat with John who sadly mentioned he's closing up shop next year. It'll be very hard to find such an extensive selection of Canucks paraphernalia after its closed. All the best John!

Easy booking process for appointment.Had good selection of jerseys and was able to find what I was looking for very quick.An older Inter Milan jersey that was brand new.10/10

Best selection of game ready jerseys hats and player apparel anywhere. It's a shame they will be closing. Look to support an independently owned store through their online store.

I ordered a hockey jersey and it arrived quite quickly considering it came from BC to Ontario. Jersey was in mint condition and packaged perfectly. Would recommend for sure. Thanks!

Saw some reviews here on Google and some times people have good and bad days but the shop owner is awesome and helped me out had a good talk with him after my purchase and my overall experience was awesome.And I'm definitely buying more products to support a local business
