It's ok. I'm really glad this park is here for the residents of the DTES. Public washrooms could be tended to more often but grateful they've been open at times! Nice and modern Parkhouse that holds various small concerts and festivals. Went to the PowWow last Saturday and it was great!

I went to the park during the Powell street festival, so the park was very clean and had a lot of people. 5-stars for the festival and the park during this time.I know it is usually not like this (hence the 3-stars) and I find it too bad since it has a lot of potential. Being so close to Hastings tent area, many homeless people walk around the area. There is a playground for kids, however, I don't think I want to take my children there.

I've been here for a couple Indigenous events. The first one was the unveiling of the totem pole. Second was the pow wow to honour the children.

A really nice park in DTES. There’s a small community centre here where they were serving coffee for DTES folks. There is a small gated (low gate) playground here; there are signs saying no alcohol, no drugs, inside the playground. The playground was clean and had a few items for kids including two sitting wide swings. There is also a totem pole at the park, which was nice to see.Personally I came during the Powell Japanese festival where there was ample street parking and several streets closed off for food, drinks, crafts, clothing and performances. The sumo ring and free origami and face painting at the children’s tent were my favourite!Oppenheimer Park is huge; there is a path through the park that’s covered by trees so good shade and generally lots of grass. I didn’t see any needles during my visit here. There were DTES residents enjoying the festival here at the festival and several DTES workers as well, which I applaud and found amazing. I appreciate integrating the local community in all events, especially as part of hiring, employment and delivering local community events.

Nice place for a walk through. Many of Vancouvers less fortunate are there. Kind of bitter sweet. Beautiful park with lovely cherry blossoms but sad to see people need help

Awesome Park for Me to feed My Canadian Geese that's for sure I have always loved the Canadian Geese... We had while Geese on our farm in when I was a kid and what I really loved about my parents is that even when they sold the farm? Still even then we never ate the Geese although we did eat the chicken:..(.

I've spent a lot of time in that park, especially in the summer as they have lots of activities and concerts featuring local talent. Free coffee and munchies at scheduled times. Check them out and learn something new about about the various flocks of birds that hang there. I like it.
