Definitely worth a visit if you’re near Kaslo or on your way through to Nelson. We visited at the end of June and the falls were still flowing strong from the late snow melt.

Fletcher Creek Falls Recreation Site
Even in the winter the hike down to Fletcher Falls is stunning. You have to be careful of the ice but the beach, picnic area, and falls are beautiful. There are some great spots to sit and paint the waterfalls and there are lovely bird watching opportunities. I recommend to anyone who is able to hike down to the falls.

Beautiful place. Walkable in flip flops but not recommended. Several choices for trail down. Chose straight or zigzag. Great spot for picnic and swimming at beach. Thanks again Canada you never let us down with your beautiful surroundings!

Nice spot for a hike, camping not so much since the site is down a very steep hill. Beautiful waterfalls with a pit toilet. Great picnic and swim area

A small walk down for about 10 mins from the parking lot, will take you to this beautiful falls. There is parking just by the main road. This place is hard to miss. There are spots to camp by the lake and if you are here early, you can definitely get a good spot.

Fantastic falls with spectacular views! Nice little walk down to the falls. We did it in flip flops and slides (not recommended but doable) because we didn't know it was a quick little hike down and back up. So worth the time! Can picnic on the beach as well. Has a little outhouse and picnic tables. Lots of space to spread out on the beach and spend some time just enjoying the beauty.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall and forested preserve. Loved the trail, creek and beach area. My fiancée and I camped in the overnight area and there’s definitely a lot of people that frequent the site. Was a little disappointed with the number of people coming through our camp spot. Was hoping for a bit more separation with the overnight spots to the day use area. If you’re wanting a nice quick hike or a great spot for a picnic lunch though this is a fantastic spot!

Lovely waterfall just a short hike down off the hwy. Not overly well marked from the road though. Well worth the stop. There's a small walk in/boat in campground on the lake with picnic tables and fire pits.

Quick walk down from a small parking area to see what has to be one of the nicer sets of falls I have seen in Canada. Super easy access, next to no barriers, and not a speck of garbage to be seen. Fire pits and picnic tables at the lakeside along with an outhouse. Stunning views of Kootenay Lake looking across to the East shore and beyond into the mountains. It would be even easier to access were one to boat here…Definitely worth the 10-15 minutes it takes, though I’d plan on being there longer because it’s such a peaceful spot.

10 minutes down. Stop at first viewpoint going up to get a nice picture. The sound of the creek tumbling down is amazing. Follow the creek to the lake. Nice day use area to one side and overnight spots available on the other.
