When my son finished his tea and he found a piece of hair look piece inside the mug. We checked with the waitress and she said it was caused by the mug washing bush. Hope the restaurant can improve about the cleaning process.

Food is good. Solid HK style cafe food. I personally like their late night (mini meal) offering.Service on the other hand is completely opposite. Service here is pretty much non-existent, but there was one server in particular that was the worse out of all of them. She was shorter, black hair, wore glasses and wore her medical mask inside out.We had to repeat our order three times in Cantonese to the server before she could get it right. Then when the food came she essentially threw the plate at the table and said nothing. Since we were sharing family style, I asked her for some share bowls and chopsticks but before I could even finish my sentence she was already walking away from the table. Mind you, it wasn't like she was carrying a dish that needed to be set down at a table, no, her hands were completely empty. I've come here many times throughout my childhood and never has it been this bad. It was essentially as if I was paying to be disrespected.Come here at your own discretion.

It’s true, the prices have gone up and the service is non-existent at best, but it is nostalgic and the grilled meats are really good! I always get the 2-choice set meal with grilled chicken/beef or pork, spaghetti, beef gravy, and cream soup. The cream soup is difficult to find these days and it’s really good, reminds me of the kind I had in Hong Kong. The portions are large and the set meal comes with a free drink. If you want something that is predictable and you don’t care about poor service at all, this is a semi-pricey option for you! They don’t take credit and no split bills.

Food was okay but the service here is terrible. We ordered a set dinner with veggies as an add-on. But our receipt did not reflect the items we ordered and after doing the math they overcharged me by a dollar. When I brought this to the waitress's attention, they laughed at me and said their computer system is old and they are actually giving me a better price. Disrespectful staff 0 tip.

Coming into town later, we searched for a place to grab a meal late at night, and Silver Tower was one of the recommended places.Parking, like everywhere in Richmond, is limited, but we found a spot luckily. The plaza itself had a few spots that opened late and passing by, those restaurants were all bustling.Silver Tower is a old school classic Cha-Chan-Tang. The menu is covered in classic simple asian dishes along with asianized western dishes, ie. Baked Spaghetti. There's all day choices and dishes that seem to skip the dinner period (lunch and after 9 pm availability only).The waitresses are all older ladies who know the menu but lost their smiles long ago. You are initiated into the experience by the chucking of menus on the table. I had a chuckled as this takes me back to some memorable dim sum experiences. Most acknowledgment is done with a nod and a face that never changes expression. However, as any asian knows, we're here for food and service as expected.We got the Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice. When it arrived, the aroma of the umami bomb salted fish greeted our hungey palates. The wok hei" was decent as the rice didn't clump together. The chicken and lettuce were fresh and not wilted nor dry. I do wish for thicker chunks of salted fish

Loved this place from childhood memories. Great asian-western fusion and survived for many years! Waiters/staff are fantastic and always welcoming. I highly recommend the two-item or three-item special that comes with a soup and a drink! I'll always continue to come again!

Lots of wide choices food from western to Asian dishes, great value and awesome taste. They are open late which is very convenient when you have those cravings. The place is very busy and the speed of the service is not bad. The parking is lot is always full in the evenings and weekends.Everything we go here.. this place doesn't disappoint.. we will keep coming back! It's worth the trip

As far as Hong Kong style cafes go, I quite enjoyed the food at this place and they open super late. But the quality of their late night products were still not bad.Definitely on my top choice of places for late night Asian food.

Silver Tower Cafe Restaurant 銀座餐廳
Late dinner on Friday, no parking outside the restaurant, hence 4 out of 5 stars. They are very reasonably priced, especially with other restaurants pricing keep going up, which make it a even better deal. I wasn’t expecting the quality to be this good, because of the low price. The fish was cooked perfectly, chicken was just average, but the portion size was huge. The tomato soup was a little on the small side, but overall this is a pretty good place.
