Victoria Carriage Tours

We visited Victoria for a 2 day getaway and had a memorable Carriage Ride. Mya was our guide with Barney providing the Horse Power. Mya gave an outstanding tour with details of Victoria History that were amazing! The scenery through Beacon Hill, James Bay and the Heritage Neighborhood is Beautiful.I Highly recommend taking a Victoria Carriage Tour !!!!!

A wonderful 60 minute tour with details of Victoria History that were amazing! The fabulous sights when glide through the tranquil streets of the James Bay Neighbourhood, Beacon Hill Park, andespecially the tour on Belleville Street with the view of the Parliament House and the Marina Bay.I highly recommend you taking a great time on a horse-drawn carriage ride enjoying the Victoria historic tour.

My advice to everyone would be to pay for the shorter ride. Our reservation stated to show up 15 minutes early. We showed up 30 minutes early. There was no one at the booth for almost the whole time. A few minutes before our reservation a horse pulls up and that person goes to the stand. The horse got a few minutes of rest and was fed. So we started our tour about 10 minutes late. Which was fine but the only problem was that we paid for a 75 minute tour and got slightly less then a 60 minute tour. The 75 minute was mentioned by the tour guide as we started the tour. She was very nice and we did have a good time. I feel that in the almost 60 minute ride we got to see all the scenic things. Any more then that you're just being pulled around in the neighborhood. We still tipped our driver but we were shorted.

We did the tour Our Very Best (90 Minutes)" an hour before sundown with Kelly as our driver Emily as an interning driver and the beautiful old horse Molly.They picked us up at the hotel (special promo) and we started the tour by saying hi to Molly the Clydesdale.We trotted past attractions such as the Legislative Buildings

What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon! Thank you Victoria Carriage Tours for a wonderful way to see the sights, hear some of the history of this great city and listen to a friendly, funny driver all the way. We had a great time and would love to bring other visitors in the future. The horses are beautiful and are very well cared for. It’s a great way to be a tourist or a tourist in your own town!

It’s really awful to see horses are still being used as entertainment. Shameful you continue to exploit others for profit. Many cities have made this illegal for good reason, time for you to do what’s right.

Had a wonderful tour tonight with Hannah and Duke. Hannah was funny and knowledgeable, and very obviously cared about Duke.We had the 90 minute tour at 6:30, but I would recommend starting a little earlier as it was a bit too dark during the park part. Still a great end to our day!For those concerned, the horses are well taken care of, from what I have seen on the ride as well as based on what Hannah said they do on their off time with their herd outside or town.Highly recommend.

Took my wife on a carriage ride for our wedding anniversary, we both were very impressed with the driver and horse (moon)! We took the 30 min by the sea" tour at sunset and it was very romantic. The crew were very friendly and the horses were very nice and calm. Thank you for a wonderful tour"

Had a great time. We did the 45 min tour and our driver was amazing. I believe her was Emily. She gave us the option of how much of a guided tour we would like, we asked for the works, and she was great. She knew a lot of small facts of everything along the way. I would go again just to hear more tour info. The driver had a very good relationship with the horse. You could tell she cared about her and make sure the horse was safe.

Booked a 45 minute tour and had a great time with my family. Hannah was a very friendly and knowledgeable carriage driver!
