I recently inherited an old Kay & Co pocket watch that originally belonged to my great-grandfather, dating back to the 1890s. I wanted to give the watch a bit of a face lift due to the front glass being cracked and the face looking a bit grotty. I put this into Nick and his team and was instantly put at ease with their professionalism and knowledge, especially given this sort of repair might not be the most routine.Nick kept in contact throughout the repair process to let me know what was happening. He understood and respected the sentimental value of this watch, and treated it with great care.Nick replaced the front glass, and was able to replace the hoop/bow on the top of the watch as well, as the original one was cracked and held together with a small piece of wire. Overall, the work was excellent. They could have charged me a lot more! I'm delighted with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use Adams again, and recommend to anyone in need of watch repair. After being looked down on by the local Breitling dealer and aghast by the lead time for a service, I took my watch to AWS on the back of a friends recommendation.The staff were lovely, service was not quick but this is out of their hands but they explained this and the process very well, I received updates throughout and my watch was back working and looking better than new.Excellent serviceThe staff are an asset to the company.

Excellent service. My watch was fixed and returned to me within the time they needed to fix it. The repairs were done at a favourable charge. Will certainly use there services again, even, with the trip into town to use there services.

Went in for advice on a recently broken watch. The server seemed knowledgeable, realistic and up front, as well as friendly and approachable.While I didn't end up using their service this time (due to repair being a worse option than replacement), they impressed me enough that I would consider them a first choice for any issues in the future.

My wife bought me a watch from here for my birthday a few years ago. It is a high quality watch and the level of service since then has been exceptional. We came by over the weekend and a new battery was fitted, and a bracelet added in place of the original leather strap. I was really impressed with the care and attention provided and it was almost like picking up a new watch today. Great local business, would highly recommend!

I took a couple of my watches in for a repair and battery replacement last week. Very impressed with the service and fast turnaround. I would highly recommend Adam's shop. No need to go through expensive and time consuming replacements from high Street jewellers.

Great service and top tier repair, came in to replace a broken case on a Seiko and the repair was perfect not a single spec of dust underneath the glass, A* work. Would recommend this spot for any watch repair/service for any kind of watch.

I recently put a watch I’ve had for a while into Adams Watch Specialist for a full service with some parts requiring replaced. From the estimate stage right through to completion the staff were knowledgable and helpful. Throughout the time my watch was in for repair I was kept up to to date with the progress. Once collected the watch looked brand new and now runs like a dream. I cannot fault the team they were polite, helpful and attentive. Highly recommend these guys, will definitely be returning!
