The staff arw always friendly , recommend useful products, keep the facility keep, and went above and beyond to help us as first time dog owners

The staff here is always very friendly and helpful. The self serve dog wash here is also exceptional and for the cheap price of only $10, for an unlimited amount of time, you really can't beat it! I only wish their toys were a bit higher quality because most of them break very easily. They should also get some healthier dog food options available like Fromm and N&D. I'm glad they carry Fruitables dog treats though. They are very healthy and taste delicious for dogs!

Better variety of bones here then pets smart for dogs and at much better price

Expensive but convenient in that you don't have to trudge through a grocery store to buy food for your pet if you're in a hurry. However, if the cashier decides to leave the register to help a customer for a minute" to help another customer (and forgets you're waiting)

Overall great store! All of the staff are very friendly and kind. I take both of my dogs here for their nail trims- the lady that does the grooming and nail trims is amazing. She’s so great with both of my dogs (who aren’t always the most willing to cooperate).

Tuesday Dec.10, 2019. This is not a review about the LaSalle Pet Valu as we have always had very nice service from the staff there, but rather an issue with the parent company. Having purchased a specific brand of dog food from this store for over 12 years, I called to ask if they could order the puppy variety for our new puppy. They said they could not. I called Pet Wise on Tecumseh Rd. in Windsor and they also told me that they did not carry the puppy variety BUT they would be happy to order it and I could pick it up in 3 days. We will not longer be loyal, long term customers of Pet Valu but will drive a little further for amazing service.Update Tuesday Dec 17, 2019 : Interesting that the response to my Google review from Pet Valu customer service was immediate and stated they would like the opportunity to connect with me, but when I forwarded a copy of my review and response from the owner to the customer service email I have heard nothing back. That was 5 days ago. I guess they didn't really want the opportunity to connect with me after all. it just looks good if customer service SAYS they would like the opportunity to connect. They don't actually  have to follow up on the concern beyond that. Sad.

Good selection of fish to choose from, but no refund policy. I purchased three Fancy Guppies and all are still alive one week later.
