Elsa is an amazing hair stylist! very professional, kind and wonderful. She is super fast as well, and does fabulous braids. I would highly recommend her, one of my favourite stylists in the city

I highly recommend Elsa. Someone who had to do my hair disappointed me last minute and called Elsa to see if she would do my hair. It was already late but she patiently waited for me and styled my hair. She was very friendly and she made me feel better after my disappointment . My hair is very thick so it took her time to comb and style. I was very happy with the end result and it looked a lot better after she gave it a good trim. I will definitely go back to get my hair done. Thanks Elsa!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Elsa is very nice, and her braiding technique is good as well. They closed on holidays, but she did it for me because I had a party that day. Highly recommend! Fast and nice braiding!

Nothing compares to Elsa's hospitality and professionalism when it comes to hairstyling (it's perm in my case.) I've been to several hair salons in this city and although there are good quality salons out there, I find the way you treat your customers are still the number one key in any business. Doesn't matter if they offer better products, friendly hospitality is a big indicator for any return customer. After all, in this day and age, it's not about what you know anymore but who you know. That being said, just trust your own judgement. Online reviews are great for context but only you can be the judge of your own personalized experience. Anyway, definitely worth coming back in the future! I love how Elsa is very personable and knowledgeable in her hair so thank you!!

First time braiding up my hair in Vancouver. I had no idea where to go or what to expect, but I was recommended Elsa by a colleague and after looking at the reviews, I decided to give it a shot… and I’m glad I did!Elsa was the one who braided my hair… and she KILLED IT! All I had to do was show her a picture of what I wanted and she damn near replicated it to the T! Thank you Elsa for making me feel like a million bucks. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a braid up or hairstylist.

Elsa is an amazing women! A small business owner, a mother, a wife and a valuable member of her community. When I first moved to Van in 2012 from Toronto, I could not find a black hair stylist downtown. I finally tried a few places but in the end I chose Elsa’s Salon. She has a great location and she does such a great job with my hair. I’m so proud to only let her cut and style my hair. Check her out.

I went in to do a simple cornrow with my hair and not only was the result very average (it's only been 3 days and the hair is rough already), it was extremely expensive - almost $100. I'm definitely never going back again. The value you get is certainly not worth the expense.
