Three Hills Aquatic Centre

We stayed at the best Western for hockey. They give vouchers out for the Aquatic Centre. My kids and the other hockey kids had an absolute blast! They have everything you need to keep all age groups happy. Highly recommend going here if your in three hills!

Love this place! The main pool is warm(29°) and with 2 hottubs there's always enough room to sit and relax. Kids love the waterslide, rope swing and diving board! Splash park is also very good and with a playground right beside you can't go wrong!

We had 11 kids and 3 adults, it was easy to see the kids. We felt our children were safe in the abilities of the lifeguards. This is being stated as a lifeguard myself and the other two adults who were with me also are ex-lifeguards. The water quality was perfect and the whole facility was beautifully clean. It was well worth the drive while I was in Calgary. The Calgary pools were all closed so we took the risk of driving over an hour and will probably do the same thing through choice next year! It was so peaceful and enjoyable for the age of our kids being from age 2-11. We also enjoyed the splash park afterwards. We will chose to make a day trip of it next time instead of just a few hours.

Very clean. Kids had a blast. My 6 year old couldn’t get enough of the water slide. My 10 and 12 year old loves it too. However, their favourite was the rope swing. The lifeguards are kind and can be seen gently reminding kids of the rules. Good value for your money. Strongly recommend.

I used to come here all the time as a kid then go to the Dairy King- Loved it. Great location- what an awesome gem for the town to have. It is well maintained, clean and the schedule is very neat and organized. I love coming here. SO beautiful , I love coming here! You will too! Bring your kids! Bring your friends! We were visiting from Ont. and took our young daughter swimming at your pool while she was in the pool someone went through her locker and took her glasses( she is seeing impaired) they threw them in the trash thank goodness that we found them after some searching. Later that night my older kids went swimming my daughter was called a foul name and my son had a knife pulled on him. My older daughter also cut her foot in the slop down and had to ask many times to get a band aid. The life guards on duty than day were less than helpful. It is a nice centre and its too bad my family had that experience. My older kids are life guards here in Ont and they were pretty alarmed at the lack of ability of your life guards. You may want to look into this.

Awful place to swim. Would never recommend to anyone passing through. The life guards are useless and don’t care about the swimmers. No one is on the same page with their “rules” everyone has their own. They always change what rules they have. My son slipped and fell into the water and the lifeguard wasn’t even paying attention, just chatting with one of their friends (Thai was at the splash park, luckily I was right there to pull him out otherwise who knows). Definitely an awful place.I would highly recommend going to trochu or acme for any of your swimming needs.

The slide is so big and way better than anything I’ve ever seen out of a small town or village, as well as it’s really fun to just hang out there and just play some water sports or swim around is definitely something you should do if you’re camping in three Hills

Lovely splash park outside of the pool.

I moved here a couple months ago, I love going to the pool. It’s the only thing that’s easilly accessible for me here in town. My kids also love it. I went to the public swim tonight and after I left I got into my car and started crying ... I’ve never left a place before feeling like that. The lady that helped me at the front counter was extremely rude, all the other staff have only ever been nothing but nice. She seemed fine with everyone else and was just nasty to me, it really upset me. I did speak to a few other people afterwards as I thought I might have been overreacting, but they seemed to now who I was talking about .. I’m just upset as I did nothing wrong at all and I was treated like dirt. I never write reviews but feel like I needed to for this as I’ve never left a place feeling like I did tonight.
