My Son's therapist, Rachel is amazing. She finds fun ways to engage him to make him enjoy his therapy sessions. My son started to make progress after just one session

My daughter needed some support in her pronunciation and articulation of her words. I called and got a call back the same day, and by the following week, we had an assessment for my daughter booked. Staff were responsive, knowledgeable and supportive. Clare started coming to our home in May and now in October, my daughter’s speech has improved 100%! She can express herself appropriately and we no longer have to ask her a bunch of times to repeat herself. I would recommend this organization 1000 times over.

Our speech therapist Catherine is kind, patient and has a passion for what she does. Our son looks forward to her visits and is always engaged and laughing. We have noticed a incredible improvement since working with her. My family cannot thank her enough! We are incredibly grateful to have her in our lives. Thank you Catherine for sharing your talent for teaching with us.

My 6yo son had his speech therapy sessions with Susan Nguyen and I just wanted to say what a great experience it was. Susan is a great person to work with. The entire time she was so patient, understanding and kind towards my son and I. She not only worked with my son, but also gave my husband and I strategies to continue the progress at home and at school. Plus, my son always looked forward to our meetings. I will be honest, I was skeptical at first whether things were going to improve, but I see my son using the strategies Susan put into place on a daily basis and it has made a big difference in all our lives. Thank you to Susan and the entire Speech Associates Team.

We have been working with the company and our speech therapist for 4 months. She has made an impact in my daughter's life. Reading and word recognition by site has significantly improved and this is such a gift for us! I can see that she is invested in each session, offering choices and using fun games. She created a pony board and increases goals regularly. My daughter loves her. Thank-you to speech associates for introducing me.

I spoke with Maria regarding ABA services for my son and she was very patient, kind and informative. Maria found ABA therapist Bianca who was able to work around my schedule ( this has been very difficult for me to find ). Bianca came over for my sons first pairing session not long after and she was overall great!! Shortly after we than proceeded with my sons assessment with the BCBA therapist Preet and this was also a great experience. So far my experience as a new customer with this company has been good and I am very eager to begin aba therapy ! Looking forward too it. Parents with special need are generally more stressed compared to regular parents and these type of centres add more stress on top of it. First of all the administrator (Maria) who is very rude and unprofessional, sent a threatening email for money collection for only 90$ which was a missed invoice and they never contacted for it by any means. Secondly the therapist showed up for a play session without any toys so the session was not completed. however the centre tried to charge us for the session. We found this centre is purely focus on business and money without proper services. I would not recommend this centre to anyone.

The newest review below mine is 100% accurate. I would NOT recommend The speech Associates to anyone. Forgive me as this may be long but I DON’T want anyone to waste their time and money with this company …. It’s worth the read.We began therapy February 2022 and in September 2022 I decided enough is enough and I Canceled with the Speech Associates.First therapist clearly didn’t take my child’s needs seriously. She came for the first initial meet, about 30 minutes long, she never showed up for any aba sessions afterwards, she continued to cancel because in her words, she had to cover shifts at her other job because people were calling in, at a car dealer ship. I had to call the secretary Maria at the time and complain.Second therapist they brought on, came 2 times because her second visit didn’t go so well. She was practicing an old school technique ( from what I’ve heard )with my son and he did not like it at all. In a matter of seconds my son went from his usual self to a completely different child. It was like day and night. My son became extremely self injurious and was trying to bang his head on any possible surface. The self-injurious behaviours than became a part of our every day life going forward. The therapist did not know how to handle the situation and was telling me that I needed to stop him because he was doing it very hard and so I took over the situation. She never returned again. I called the secretary to complain.Third therapist they brought on. Julian connected well with her and that is the most that I can say. I think she only showed up with a bag of toys and materials twice, afterwards nothing she would just use my sons toys …. I didn’t see much efforts. We got Left waiting with no phone call, email or heads up that she wouldn’t be attending the session at least 4-5 times. I would only hear from them once I would call the secretary Maria to complain and she never really had an answer, she would just say “I don’t know why ? This therapist is one of our best therapists !”We stayed working with this therapist for about 5 months. When she began with Julian we had to tread very carefully as he was now a self injuries child. This did play a role in terms of progress however the consistency with therapy was not there for many reasons. From the beginning we are told that we must have a BCBA therapist supervise at least 1 session per month to review the programming that the ABA therapist was providing. In 8 months we only received 1 supervision ! There were many times I was calling and emailing the secretary, BCBA and aba therapist trying to accommodate the supervision which isn’t my job, but the aba therapist would never respond accordingly. I called to complain because I was officially done with this nonsense. They advised me that this therapist had health issues which doesn’t allow her to physically attend to anyone or anything and that unfortunately this will be an ongoing occurrence. I decided to cancel.To conclude:No follow up meetingNo graph notesNo progress reportsNo parent trainingNo monthly BCBA supervisionUnprofessionalNot trustworthyInexperiencedAnd the list go’s on, overall I felt like my son and I were not taken seriously.It is clear to me that this company is hiring inexperienced clinicians. The outcome was terrible, ultimately we wasted time and money !!!

Marina works with our daughter and she enjoys every time she comes! Ava runs upstairs as soon as I say Marina is here! She has a lot of fun and has improved in her speech and vocabulary exponentially! We are lucky to have her!

I had such a wonderful speech therapy team!! Rachel was very good and well experinced therapist! It really help my son a lot. And she is very kind and sweet to my son.
