Sarah is the type of teacher that anyone would desire. She is an expert saxophonist and brilliant teacher who instructs with insight, passion, patience and kindness. She, herself, continues to learn and immediately brings the fruits of her learning into the teaching arena. She teaches beginners through to advanced professionals, and she possesses great insight into how to motivate and impart technical and musical wisdom to each learner. Her Saxophone Technique book is a treasure trove of saxophone insight, written in an engaging narrative style that invites the reader and player to reflect, experiment and grow musically. We are lucky to have her in our midst and I recommend her without reservation.

Sarah offers the perfect balance of encouragement, patience and challenge to keep our daughter motivated and engaged, and because of that, she is developing a strong foundation in technique, and her own love of music!
