Had my first ever instillation with Asha and she was absolutely incredible! So kind and talented, and walked me through the method while doing my hair. I have had many different types of extensions but this was by far the best, and looks the most natural with my hair! Asha involved me in the process and made me feel so incredibly beautiful! I cant believe how amazing my hair looks, and the colour matching was perfect!Thank you so much, I feel so confident and grateful!❤️❤️

I haven't had someone do hair extensions for me and provide the service and care that I get when I go to The Extensionist. I’ve been getting extensions my entire life - I’ve had every kind of installation you can think of. This method has by far been the best for the health of my hair, especially if your goal is to gain length of your natural hair. Do not let the initial price deter you - it is 100% worth the investment. And the staff treats it exactly like that - an investment. They care as much as you do!! My stylist Katey took my dry, damaged, broken blonde and transformed me into a perfectly matched natural strawberry blonde with a stunning money peice. She matched my natural color so perfectly the first try that I don’t even need to get my hair coloured anymore! It has so much dimension and allows me to continue my hair health journey with minimal maintence. It’s the best color service I’ve ever had. Katey has gone above and beyond to treat my investment as if it were her own hair, down to the finest details. She even follows up every appointment the next day to make sure I absolutely love the result. The manager Brooke also takes personal care to check in with clients and ensure satisfaction which adds to the level of trust and care this team delivers. I never thought I could love my hair this much - Katey truly delivered celebrity stylist worthy hair. My only regret is I wish I did it sooner!

I Definitely rate these girls a five star! Brookelynn did such an incredible job with every service she performed, my extensions are blended so beautifully and the way she installed them I am just so impressed because they’re so flat on my head you can barely feel them. She’s did the best install on me that anybody has ever done. I really love the care that she puts into installing and servicing my hair, she is a perfectionist when it comes to hair, which I really appreciate. She is very knowledgeable, very personable, and very professional. I will be back to see Brookelynn 1000 times over .But I will say all the girls are very good there. I have been coming here for years now. They have changed my life!!!! I have really thin hair and I always wanted long hair and they have made my dreams come true!! Brittany colour matched my hair perfectly to my natal blonde and they look so amazing. Everyone here is so amazing and welcoming. I will be getting my hair done here for many years to come . I am on my third install of Diamond Series with the extensionist, I started with a manageable 100 grams at 16 inches, then upgraded to 150 grams at 20 inches and I am currently wearing 200 grams at 22 inches! The quality of the hair literally amazes me, it stays soft for so long. It’s given my confidence the CRAZIEST boost, they’re amazing quality, each set has lasted me a FULL 12 months which is astounding as I’ve worn every possible method of extensions and they’ve only lasted 3-6 months at most. The price tag is a little hard to swallow at first but as long as you see it as an investment it becomes so so worth it. Once you hit your third install you receive an awesome discount on ALL future extensions packages. I’m always seeing awesome deals and free extension giveaways which I think is awesome! They’re making their hair more accessible for people within the community, we stan a company who cares!! The owner Megan is truly a peach, we’re from the same hometown as well so I love love love supporting a local business woman. I have received my months touch ups, installs and colour services from both Ashley’s, kaylee, katlyn, along with jenna and katie in edmonton and all of these women have done an amazing job and made me feel great, they’re all wonderful people and it’s never awkward sitting in the chair for as often as I do! Especially considering I have had a few hiccups along the way but nothing that couldn’t be solved! Everything has always, always been reprimanded and they made sure I was comfortable enough coming back to the salon, when I gave them a second chance I was not disappointed. All of the photos attached are from each install, I’m already excited for my next install!!!

I went into The Extensionist to purchase their Genius Weft advertised on their website. I paid a deposit on a Genius Weft and they were not able to acquire the product as the supplier did not have it in stock. The salon ordered a substitute product without my consent. I was offered it and I declined to purchase it as I already owned that product. When I asked for a refund I was told that the refund was non-refundable. The salon eventually agreed to refund my deposit since they could not provide the product I ordered but they told me I would have approximately $180 of my $724 deposit withheld as a restocking fee for the substitute product that the Extensionist ordered without my consent. The deposit was paid May 10th, the salon contacted me May 13th to notify me they could not acquire the Genius Weft. It’s May 27th and the Extensionist still has my full deposit and will not confirm an amount or date of refund.
