This restaurant doesn’t have food. They have leftovers which they microwave and serve you. We went to have dinner and had to settle for whatever leftovers they had.. we tried ordering 3 different things and nothing was available… so we settled for something else. Both dishes were microwaved and served in a few minutes lukewarm. I ordered tea and even that was barely warm. I asked for sugar.. guess what? No sugar available.. which was funny because I’ve never heard that one before. Whoever runs this place needs to take a course in how to run a restaurant…

The restaurant is clean and super cute and vibrant. The service was quick, the portios were huge. I got the rice bowl combo with chicken and it was delightful! A great alternative if you're craving Indian food, but don't want to necessarily sit down.

Chaska is one of the best places in town for Indian street food. It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in downtown Peterborough. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience.This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! I highly recommend this place to every food lover! I would like to come back here again and again.

1st visit and the 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch. Although they have some interesting chat/street food we ordered 3 dishes and 2 nans. These dishes were freshly prepared, the curry gravys were excellent...rich and flavourful. The owner prepares the food and his staff were very good. This was casual but fun dinning experience.

Nice Indian street food joint in the area. Their food is nice, but some of them are just average. Rolls (kathi and naan) and protein bowl are the things I recommend. Other dishes are just average. Samosa sliders are not worth trying.4 stars only because of the owner, very warm welcoming and provides best customer service. Food is 3/5Also, quite expensive.

Wow! Where do I begin?The moment you walk into a colorful festive atmosphere, you are warmly greeted by Akash, the new owner. Akash gives you a great “ food tour” of the foods, and what they are. There is a wide variety of food and food options displayed and also on a menu.( including vegetarian and GF)The food is beautifully presented in compostable bowls. The flavours are so succint and tasty! What I really like is the food isn’t greasy or overpowering.This is definitely a must for the taste of authentic indian street food, for the atmosphere and just to meet Akash!

Visited here very recently.Super friendly owner.Amazing vibe. Samosa poutine was bussin' and chai was a nostalgic trip to India. Would definitely visit again.
