Terrible fish and chips. Dry small fish sticks. Dry french fries. Thimble size coleslaw and tartare sauce.Should have stayed home and put Captain Highliner in the oven. A complete waste of time and money.2 dinner's both sucked.

Took my brother-in-law for lunch. We had the best server I have ever had. If you go there hopefully you get Ben. He is just the nicest person. Very attentive, polite, great conversation. Ben is certainly a great asset to the Grimsby location. Great food as well.

Horrifying mouldy tomato, photo attached. How old is that thing? I’ve had tomatoes look like that when they were in the fridge for weeks. Cucumber dried and wrinkled, certainly not cut today, maybe not even yesterday, same photo attached. Soup was cold, drink was missing, croutons in the Cesar were wet and soggy. Yes, the croutons were wet. How long had that salad been sitting somewhere for that to happen? Makes me question the quality, storage, and handling of the chicken and everything else. Got transferred to the store to speak to a manager but no one answered. Can’t say I’m surprised by that.

My fiancé and his Mom and I went there today, Easter Saturday and we were horrified at how unkept the place is along with the horrible service from the greeter that made us wait to be seated when there was no one at the door; then we asked to be moved to a window and she seemed bothered and told us that there was only one server! The food was a disaster! The rice tasted stale as if it was reheated along with dry chicken with greasy fries! We are never going back! The worst was the filthy toilet stall I encountered, luckily we were leaving! This place should be shut down!

Excellent attentive server. All staff were friendly and could be heard speaking to other patrons in kind tone of voice. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Overall experience was 5/5. Thank you for a nice Friday evening dining experience.

Had a really great time! Service was amazing and fast. Waitress was very attentive and nice. I would recommend! Food came out hot and very fresh! I will be returning.

Worse attitude ever. I used to eat here every time u go to Grimsby. And was always happy. But person caller Mike booked a table and we came back just in 35 minutes instead of 30 as my dad fallen down and damaged the feet and they given table to someone else. Even didnt want to discuss and didnt offer any solution. Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. Will never come here again

I’ll start by saying that I never write reviews but this Swiss Chalet in particular has irritated me so many times that I feel I need to write one. As you can see what I ordered/paid for and what I had received are 2 completely different things. I pulled into the drive through and waited 30 minutes to receive the wrong order. I will never ever be ordering from this disaster of a restaurant again and suggest that you don’t either If you’re reading this.Also, when my wife called the restaurant (after 3 attempts to get someone on the line) she explained the situation to the staff member and the response was far from sympathetic as their reply was “were extremely busy and we apologize for the error on your 1 piece of chicken”What does it matter if it’s 1 piece or 20? It’s wrong because it’s not what I ordered and what I paid for.

This afternoon I visited the Grimsby Swiss Chalet location for lunch with friends,Our food was hot and tasty. The service was excellent. Our server, Ben, was very friendly andhelped to make our visit very pleasant. Recommended.
