My experience has been good some bad campers have ruined some aspects of my stay but it's not the campgrounds fault it's kinda noisy because of the train and the showers could be hotter but the price can't be beat

All the complaints are about the train noise, so bear that in mind if you're planning to stay here. Beyond that, this is a fantastic little campground, and you only have to check out the spotless washrooms and showers to know that these folks care about doing it right.

Unfortunately this campground is in need of a facelift or just better maintenance. We stayed one night and it most likely will be our last. No rules seem to apply here as there was a loud party going on in the campground and no security not even the RCMP to come through. The site we had was littered & a green propane tank left in our site.The bathrooms were fairly clean & you do get free fire wood. I don’t think these little bonuses will entice me back again.

Our family stayed here for a week and it was hands down the best experience I've had camping.The lady who owns it is so friendly and keeps the park wonderfully maintained. The sites and bathroomswe're clean and spacious, the showers just right and People here were friendly.We can't wait to come back. This will be our go to campground when visiting jasper.

Pleasantly surprised! Aside from the train, it was a quiet, wonderful experience!The lady who cares for the place was more than kind, and accommodating. Firewood, showers, indoor toilets.I also was impressed with the accessible playground at the community center at the entrance to the campground, (which is well hidden alongside the playground)No gravel pits for tents, and plenty of space between sites, and lots of trees.

This is a beautiful Wooded urban campsite run by the City of Hinton. Well located with large level private sites in the woods (yet with lots of sun). The grounds are clean, firewood is included in the cost as are hot showers in very clean and modern washrooms.People have commented about the train noise but honestly, they are not a bother. More silent that you would think.If you have used Municipal Campsites before, this is one of the best.It would be nice if they had a set of hours to run generators as there were a few inconsiderate people in that regard.

Other then the trains going by felt very safe and comfortable here, hands down the cleanest bathrooms/showers in a campsite I’ve been at so far, the owners are super nice, overall we really enjoyed our stay! They also took us in super last minute and saved us after driving over 12 hours after our campground got closed down due to the jasper fire September long, the pricing is super great $25 cash, free fire wood and free showers.

If you are looking for place to camp for the night and are a deep sleeper this place is okay. It has a nice washroom with hot showers. Unfortunately it's located between a busy highway and a railroad track. The highway didn't bother me, but the trains woke me us up multiple times thoughout the night

Beautiful location. Easy access to highway. Washrooms are clean. $25 cash only. Yes, there are a lot of trains, but it's background noise. There's also noise from local industry. My shower was almost too hot--maybe better than too cold. There is no seat, shelf, or hooks for towel, clothes, etc. Also our picnic table and fire circle were away from our tent and right close to another group enjoying a fire, so we ended up not having an awkwardly close fire to them.
