The most unique and enchanting studio I have visited yet. Mr. Martens was happy to give us a tour of his studio and explain his process, glazes, and materials to us. It is obvious how much he loves his work. Best of all, he was available to open his studio even when we were not able to get a hold of any other potters in the area. So glad we stopped by!!

We (my girlfriend and I) came across Jeff's booth last year at Kempenfest '18 in Barrie. At that time we purchased the 2 mugs in the photo. These mugs quickly became my favorite drinking vessels. This past weekend was Kempenfest '19 and we made a point to search out Jeff and his booth. We wanted to add to our mug collection but when i saw the serving plate, I couldn't pass it up. I cant say enough about the quality and style of his creations. It was a pleasure speaking with Jeff and an even bigger pleasure using his products. Can't wait to see what you bring to Kempenfest next year!

I've been a repeat customer of Jeff's for the last five years and he has commissioned everything from an entire dish set to handmade coasters, spoon rests, and sugar bowls. His work is stylish, unique, and is made of quality. Prices are very reasonable and you get a piece of art signed by the artist himself, that you can use everyday. You really can't ask for more! I would highly recommend him for any pottery commissioning project you may have in mind - he will bring it to life.
