Enterprise Rent-A-Car

This is by far the best car rental company in Cobourg. The staff are awesome, the cars are clean and new and they go above and beyond in pretty much every department. Sometimes they even have BMW's!!!

Booked a rental online while my car was getting repaired. Booked an appointment to be picked up at my house. No one came and when I called staff didn't even know about my pick up appointment and they didn't have any drivers until later. Service was good once I got there after getting a ride from family. The staff are good but it seems like their online system needs work.

I had the most wonderful experience renting. Justin was knowledgeable, informative and had the best customer service. The car I rented was clean and the size/type I had requested. Justin contacted me shortly after I dropped back the rental to let me know I had left a wheelchair (belonging to my father) in the vehicle, and his prompt call allowed me to return to Enterprise to get the wheelchair prior to closing. If I had one piece of feedback it would be the hours of operation. I found the operating hours a little tricky to work around, especially while working an hour away in the city working standard office hours. I had to take an hour off of work to drop off the car in order to be there during operating hours. This was ultimately my own problem of course, but I'm sure other customers may appreciate an earlier opening and/or later closing time. Amazing customer service and overall experience and I will continue to choose Enterprise for future car rental needs.

Absolutely terrible...... My insurance paid them...... And then they also billed my credit card...... I will never deal with this company again..... I have left numerous messages on their voicemail and got no response..... I wonder how many other people have been ripped off this way.....

Had a great experience in Cobourg. The staff were courteous and made a strong effort to explain the vehicle and how they assessed any potential damage. The vehicle I had selected wasn't available, so they upgraded with no charge. Great car and service, so I'll be happily returning!

I had to deal with them for my rental and they were absolutely amazing and even went out of there way to help me. 5 stars for sure and if anyone needs a vehicle talk to Justin.

I love renting at this location!!. Friendly , fair , and they go out of their way to follow up with a phone call to make sure everything went great. I will not rent anywhere else.

Absolutely terrible service ! Will never use this company again. Rented a vehicle , pick up was suppose to be at 1030am . We received a call at 8 am they had no cars but would get one sent to their location asap .. at 11 am we called the location. And no answer. We have called all morning to both numbers provided and no one will answer the phone now. Called corporate number and this location won’t answer the phone for anyone. Quick to take our money to hold the rental and then not communicate with customers. We are now hours late to our destination and still have not heard anything in regards to our rental , and this location will still not answer the phone . We have now called National car rental who immediately answered the phone , and was quick to accommodate us with a rental for today. We still cannot get anyone to answer the phone at enterprise … we will be calling corporate again for a refund. Do not use this terrible location for your rentals ! After 4 hours we get a call saying they have a car , after letting them know national saved the day .. he hung up on me ..this guy should not own a business that deals with the public !!

Amazing experience with Enterprise. Even with issues with insurance company, they handled everything professional and kept me informed the entire time. Justin is so kind and patient with his customers, amazing worker.

Absolutely horrible service from Cobourg Enterprise and other locations in Toronto as well but Cobourg was the WORST. I rented a car from Enterprise with my sister in Montreal. Drove the car to Cambridge and a few days later we were headed back to Montreal. On the 401 the whole dashboard started flashing and the check engine light was too. Then the gas power gave out. We barley made it to the next exit and ended up at an Enterprise on Rexdale. They checked the car in their shop, made a few adjustments and took a test drive and said it looked ok to them, they had no cars to swap out. They told us to call another location further from Toronto and wished us luck on the 401. We tried calling other locations but none of them had cars and the car seemed to be driving better. Well, 8 minutes from the Cobourg location the car dashboard started flashing again and the gas power gave out, the whole car started shaking. We were in the left hand lane and had to get over 3 lanes, an 18 wheeler barely missed us. TERRIFYING. We got off the 401 with our four ways on and made it to the Cobourg location. The employee there was useless. He told us to call Montreal so they could arrange a tow. Told us it wasnt his problem and he was a one man show" and had "his own clients" to assist. We called Montreal who told us that Cobourg should be helping us
