We go here to eat lunch as often as possible and sometimes for burger night. The food is sourced locally, and made with attention to detail.

Thursday is Burger night. $5 draught beer and a great choice of gigantic burgers.Beautiful patio. Feels like your in a European beer garden.

This was a cute little stop for us to enjoy on a long business trip home from Edmonton.The only issue, was that there was far too much sauce on their BLT ... it wasn't easy to eat and made both my partner and I ill.

Moonshine Cafe is a real delight. Fantastic food, beautiful dog friendly great patio. Wonderfully decorated space. I was surprised that their Saturday specials included a pork taco and broccoli soup combo. The soup was rich with creamed and whole broccoli heads. The aroma and taste was strong with broccoli and just a hint of spice. The pork taco was as good as any I have had anywhere including San Miguel de Allende Mexico. The chocolate trifle was sinfully rich and needs to be shared. They have beer on tap too! Clean and pretty washrooms.

Moonshine Cafe is definitely not the kind of place you’d expect in a very small town like Tofield. It has a very sophisticated, artisan, small batch sort of feel with carefully thought out and curated dishes filled with flavour. Whoever is behind the menu planning and cooking seriously knows what they’re doing and has real talent. So far I’ve very much enjoyed everything I’ve ordered and tasted from them. I’ve been for both breakfast and burger night. My only complaint would be the short open hours and irregularity of the hours.

Top notch tiny little place. I took my grandson out for lunch. It was our first time there. The bartender/waitress took the time to tell us about some of the history of the building. She recommended drinks for us and chose them spot on. The entire place was spotless with about 8 guests in total. We had chicken wings and shared a fresh Greek salad. The portions were above average and the prices were lower than average. I definitely would go back again.
