Mactaquac Provincial Park
A great place for anyone no matter the season. Wether you're a family looking to get away from the city, an individual like me just looking to take great photos in nature, or a tourist looking for a little bit of everything, this place and the surrounding area are great.During the Spring and Summer, there's camping and the beach, the trail network and golfing and a Moco restaurant. There's even a mini golf and tropical themed water park nearby and of course the dam is always a cool site, but especially during rainy/flood season in the Spring.During the Fall, the colours change and it's my favourite time if year in New Brunswick as a lover of nature hikes.During the Winter, they have sledding and again, all kinds of trails for things like snowshoeing.

Only camped for one night. Staff at the gate were very polite and courteous. A large section of the par is closed for improvements. Our site was nice but not raked, cleaned when we arrived and the fire pit wasn't cleaned out.

Super friendly, well priced and a beautiful scenery, I went cross country skiing with friend, equipment was subpar but that's expected for rental. Definitely going to invest in my own pair and come back!

Huge park with a wide variety of sites from completely shaded to totally exposed. Bath facilities are basic flush toilets and sinks. Showers are free but it all looks like it was installed in the 70s. Huge beach for kids and boat launch at one end of park. Large playground area too. We'd come back.

Went to the beach, it was very clean and well kept, picnic tables are out for your enjoyment, lots of parking available and lots of space for kids to play or sun bathe, don't forget your sunscreen and bug spray though. My family and I will definitely return in the future. It's a beautiful scenic drive to get to the beach so that's a bonus.

Beautiful park! I hope to come back and go visit the pathways across the road. It would be nice if a pamphlet could be provided with information for all park hiking opportunities.Absolutely loved my site. Everyone was very friendly.

Mactaquac Provincial Park
This a great campground/park for the money!! Peaceful. Roomy. Decent amenities. Nice beaches in park. Fantastic scenery. Great for kids. Nice golf course in park. My only reasoning for 4/5 rating: camp store is closed this year. No pool (not a biggy considering there are 2 beaches). Most, if not all, serviced lots do not have a sewer hookup and many have no water. Also, this park should rent kayaks/canoes! It's located right on the water!!! Still...I recommend this park!

This is one of our favorite provincial parks. We were in 395. It's a bit uneven. we have to raise the front of the trailer quite a bit, but they are beautiful sites. We had family staying at one of the cottages. It was cute and very cozy. Only has heat as an option, no air conditioning. Two bunk beds - double on the bottom single on top.

Absolutely terrible campground. This is a campground my family has gone to for years! My sons favourite. But nothing has been taken care of or improved over the years. No activities for the Canada Day long weekend. Rec centre torn down, camper store not operating. Hiking trails not maintained large trees fallen and unable to pass through, broken picnic tables, to name a few disappointing things. So unfortunate, and won’t be back.
