I had been admiring Danielle’s photography for some time, so booking a session for myself and my dog was a no-brainer. Danielle’s gentle direction helped both awkward owner and dog pose in exactly the right way while still being ourselves. Being that I had followed her work, I expected the photos would be great. But WOW. Our laid back, silly, goofy session full of laughs turned into photographs that truly captured our relationship and the beautiful nature around us. These are photos that I will cherish forever.

I loved my experience with JEP! My senior dog became very sick suddenly and Danielle was so accommodating and was able to do an end of life photo shoot with her. She made sure that both Ginger and I felt comfortable the entire time and made the whole process so easy. I will always cherish these photos and I am so thankful that Danielle captured these moments

Absolutely adore Danielle’s talent and work! I am a repeat client of JEP and she makes sessions so fun, easy and stress free for human and animal. My last session was with my dog and when I received my album I laughed and cried. She caught my dogs silly and sweet personality perfectly. The photos turned out so beautifully, it was hard picking favourites! She was incredibly prompt with sending my album, I couldn’t ask for it to come faster. I was gifted a session with Danielle at Journey East Photography for my beloved dog, Ikes 13th birthday. She had chosen a beautiful park at just the right time of day to capture the best light. Danielle had a real gift for getting my little dude to reveal his wonderfully goofy character; by creating a relaxed and fun environment. The finished product were the best pictures I could have asked for. She captured the special bond we shared and I will cherish the pics forever. Picture quality aside, she was quick, professional and I will continue to follow her work. I highly recommend Journey East if you're looking for a special set of photos!

In September I was out in Nova Scotia a combined dog show/visiting friends vacation with my very special little dog, we are from Ontario. Danielle was so accommodating in squeezing us in for a session. We met up at a local park, Rupert was tired after showing for 4 days so I wasn’t sure what we were going to get. Danielle was so very kind and patient, she just went with the flow and Ru loved her!!! When our images were ready to view I was completely blown away and overjoyed with emotion (and tears). The moments Danielle captured of my sweet boy and I were simply ASTOUNDING!!!! Memories to last a lifetime. She is so talented; has a amazing eye for capturing the human/animal bond and the love in each moment. My heart was bursting while looking at each picture ~ which made it so difficult in choosing the images for my package. Hands down one of the best photography experiences we have had. I can’t wait to visit again and do another session with her.

Another amazing experience! I was worried about my 1 year old German shepherd because of his high energy level and anxiety, but Danielle is absolutely amazing! She was so accommodating with Yogi and his craziness and was able to get the best pictures of him that capture my favourite thing about him - his goofy personality! Danielle made both Yogi and I feel relaxed and comfortable and was so extremely patient with him. I highly recommend her, especially for those dog owners who think their dog is too crazy to get pictures done! It is definitely possible to get pictures of your dog no matter their personality with her!

What an amazing experience with Danielle at JEP!!! We decided to do a golden hour (sunset) session and I couldn’t be happier with the enchanting photographs she captured! She made me and Kaya feel at ease and let us be us; she captured our bond in a way I didn’t know was possible with a camera. When I received my photographs it was so hard to choose which ones I wanted, they were all so stunning. I HIGHLY recommend Danielle at JEP, you definitely won’t be disappointed!!

Danielle made this tough day an amazing experience. She did our dog’s end of life photo shoot. She responded and booked us quickly (time was not on our side). She was generous, compassionate, and thorough. We got beautiful photos. Would recommend her to anyone.

HUGE fan of JEP! They were so kind and accommodating to my nervous primitive dog. It can be hard for us to do 'normal' dog/owner things because of her unease and Danielle is the reason all of this was possible! Will definitely be repeat customers! The photos speak for themselves, quality is out of this world.
