My exterior door handle fell off of my car so I called for a quote for replacing it. They said they were unable to give any sort of rough estimate and to bring it in, so I did. An hour later I get a call with them telling me that it's going to cost about $700 to replace a handle (that after now looking you can find on Amazon for $40.)I told them I couldn't afford that and that I would just have to pick up my car. They seemed surprised and responded by telling me I had to still pay them for putting my door back together. There was no discussion of them taking the door apart, I just requested a quote (It was quite obvious the handle fell off, I even gave them the handle) and there was also NO authorization of work to be done on my car in the first place. You could tell the secretary wasn't new to all of this by his passive aggressive responses and he even convinced me that if I paid $150 that they would make it so I could open my door. Well they got me good as the door was just rigged up with a dodgy wire that when I pulled to open my door just broke. I recently took my car to other shops in town who provided FREE estimates that averaged out to be $237. Big difference if you ask me. They have a big sign by the road saying finding a good mechanic is gold." They would be 100% right and they definitely do not glitter. Shame on them."

Friendly people great service. I had a very unique exhaust change on my Abarth and they did an awesome job. Even though it was a little bit out there to start with. Also brought my grandfather's truck in to have the cat back replaced. Can't complain and would recommend them to anyone. They also do stainless which for exhaust in Canada I would always recommend.

D&D took on the replacement of a motor in my classic car and I must say they exceeded my expectations !!! Extreme car was taken and the service provided was perfect. Very courteous and professional shop. Thanks everyone for your understanding.

Called D&D last week and they were able to get my car within the week. They did a lot for me and their pricing is very fair. They don't try to convince you what you need done. They even called and asked if I wanted something done. Then before making the decision they broke it all down for me and explained it to me. 10/10 would recommend. They are all hard working and friendly individuals. They will be seeing me in the future!

Honest, friendly, and helpful, despite being very busy. When I first moved to Quinte West, I asked people where to bring my vdhicke. Literally everyone I asked suggested D & D. Three years later; no regrets!
