Not many people review parking lots, but this location is where those in the know go to see the Canada Day fireworks display. The fireworks are actually released at Ajax Downs, but many of us don't want to deal with the crowds and parking chaos, so we started looking for a place several years ago where we'd get a good view without going to the downs. We found Walmart was a good location and since then many more have cottoned on too. We arrive early, but you can see well from any spot. Most people sit in their cars to watch the display, but this time a couple of car loads of people decided to stand immediately in front of our car. Another group decided to set up their folding chairs next to their car - preventing people from using the primo spot. The people in front of us were just ignorant, leaning on peoples cars and totally oblivious to the fact that they were blocking our view. The person next to us had their lights on and air conditioning running the entire time, blinding everyone. This is more of an observation of how inconsiderate people are and that they have no idea that there are others around them, but if you can tolerate ignorance, this is a good place to watch the fireworks.
