South End Community Park
Great place for kids with an outdoor spashpad, nice play ground that also has tennis courts, a basketball court, two hardball diamonds and a washroom. This is located just outside a Catholic high school and there is plenty of parking.

This was my first time experiencing this park!I was amazed of the safety and cleanliness of it.It's geared towards all ages! With basket ball and tennis courts, fields to run in, disability swings!Even a place to look for a dinosaur fossil!

Great place for family with kids, splash pad is big and is the attraction of the park. Lots of playgrounds for sports activities, parking lot is big so don't have to wait in a line.

Several baseball diamonds, nice splash pad (my kids enjoy it very much) and big washrooms building beside, kids playground with sand part too(escavating the dinosaur head is it's theme), 2 tennis courts, 2 basketball fields, several soccer and mini soccer fields with natural grass, around one of this soccer fields also asphalt circle ideal for rollerblades, parking lot just enough for all visitors on an usual day (it was never occupied more than a half at all my visits). Great variety of activities for anyone, even there is a great trail nearby (Hanlon Creek Trail) so one can spend more than a half day here and not be bored.

Great place to be! My granddaughter loves it! Only issue I ever seen is the highschool kids that lounge out while school is in with smoking and garbage and making it difficult for little kids to play!

Nice park with a splash pad and multiple play structures. There are also soccer fields and ball diamonds that are well maintained. Importantly, the bathroom facilities were spacious and very clean, at least when I went, and there was a baseball tournament going on so there was plenty of traffic going through there.

Great park! So much to see and do for little ones! Spread out, lots of land. Splash pad, separate toddler swing set, cool dinosaur sculptures and ones to find in the sand. The sand excavators are awesome too! Would totally visit this park again!

Both my 11-year old and 3-year old love this park. Great for a picnic - there are a couple tables and lots of grass to lay down a blanket. There are washrooms and water fountains. Lots of space to explore, tennis courts, splash pad, basketball court and 2 play structures. The boys particularly loved the sand pit with the diggers!

What a fantastic park to visit. The splash pad (open June to September) is absolutely wonderful for children to visit.My son adored pushing the button, hearing the beep and running to the water. The play grounds seem wonderful too (although it did appear some of the soft foam mat was breaking away from the floors).Lots of parking and the water area is only a short walk from the parking lot.We will definitely return.
