I don't know why people give good reviews. This is the smallest shawarma I've ever ate. Could have just gone to subway

Really, really good. Every part of the shawarma bowl was killer… but just a tad on the pricy side ($17 for this single bowl) if you ask me. Still, amazing quality overall and definitely a good place to have around!

Delicious food. Had the shawarma wrap with fries. It was great: crisp & flavourful, and good portion sizes. I was with a group of 12 and everyone had their orders fast.

My Burger was pretty good until I got halfway through it and realized that I had eaten a few bites of completely raw hamburger meat.... It was not warm, kind of cold, and i am afraid I'm going to be puking my guts out. It's been a 1/2 an hour since I've eaten it and I'm afraid that I've eaten a ticking time bomb. Honestly I'm storta terrified,would never come here again. Only eat here if you want to be terrorized by a hamburger.

Their burger and shawarma was delicious and fresh but the reason I’m giving 4 stars is they still haven’t opened their dine in area. They’re not located at the best street in Victoria so we had to walk about a km to find a decent place to eat our food. Also, their fries weren’t good. Their staff is nice and friendly though.

Friendly service, good flavors and decent portions. I had one of the bowls and there and it had lots of tasty additions. Good bang for your buck. There is a seating area but i chose to eat at the park. Sadly like many places their butcher department was closed due to staffing issues.

We visited here after about a year or so and was very disheartened to discover that they are no longer serving meat . We used to come here frequently while residing in Victoria and sometimes after also. But our search for halal steaks, beef and chicken pieces with bones was always incomplete without Bold Butchery. Hopefully they will regain full services soon and we will continue shopping at our favourite butchers . Thanks

I’ve been twice now and had the shawarma bowl and falafel wrap. Delicious!! Ate in both times but might be enjoyed even better at the park or by the water. Great staff and excellent value. I will be back.

I’ve been to Bold Butchery a few times now and am extremely impressed with the quality and flavour of the food they make! I’ve had the Shawarma Poutine (very big portion!) and Shawarma Bowl, as well as a side of their Falafel. Being from Middle Eastern decent and growing up eating these foods, I can attest to the authenticity of the flavours, especially the spices used. Well done!I haven’t purchased any of their meats yet but the fact that they offer Halal meats and you can see the quality of the meat cuts in the display case is very appealing.
