Came in for a consultation prior to getting my hair coloured cut and styled so the stylus could see how my previous hairdresser had cut and styled my hair ..as I have just moved out to this area and my old hairdresser is too far away.Booked my appointment and came in for my cut colour and style. I could not be more disappointed in the way that the back has been cut I feel like could’ve went anywhere to get this cut.. $280 later.. Way overpriced. ( stylist Jessa ) I also felt it was odd after I left that she had not showing me the back ..

Stephanie the owner at Mystique did amazing trial hair run pre-wedding day. The day of the wedding she was a rock star! She offered on site services for hair and make up and helped us pull off a surprise wedding. Her knowledge and experience made us all feel very special. 1st class all the way!

Steph-Marie has done my hair a few times, I have always left so happy and in love with my hair. She is very talented and although a newer stylist she has the natural talent and touch. Styles, cuts, blondes etc she has made me so happy! The salon is so nice and gives a complimentary hand sugar scrub, lotion, tea and chocolate. Can’t forget the amazing ocean view right there. Highly recommend Steph-Marie if you want to feel beautiful. Go to mystique for amazing service!

My favourite part of my whole year is going to Mystique to see Jessa. It’s something I always look forward to.The energy in the salon is really positive and calming, they treat you like a princess during your service and you leave with gorgeous, beautiful hair.I have been seeing Jessa for a long time and I really appreciate her dedication, passion, meticulousness and honesty. She has a lot of intention in what she does and each time I go I feel like she really pays attention to my individual needs as a client. She even gives me tips on how I can care for my specific hair type/style at home which has helped me up my hair game a lot!!Not only do I always love my hair but I always love coming into the space itself. I feel a bit sad whenever I have to leave the salon. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and having my hair done by Erin. I had a faded out colour that was very unflattering and Erin fixed it up and made me feel like a new person! She was very clear and thorough in explaining what she would do and how my hair would grow and fade in time. She’s an amazing stylist and I am very happy with my result. I also found the prices very reasonable! The entire salon has a great, welcoming vibe to it. As my hair was processing I had a hand treatment delivered to me which was the cherry on the cake. Truly wish I wasn’t from out of province because I just fell in love with this little ocean side salon!

My hair has been growing for a year and a half and I wanted to change it up & go a lot shorter. My stylist was Stephanie and not only did she graciously take on this challenge but the end result was exactly what I asked for! Very sweet & talented staff and a very clean place :)

There was SO MANY THINGS wrong with my service yesterday. $170 and 2 1/2 hours to leave with soaking wet, red/brass, perm-stinking hair. Steph-marie, clearly a totally inexperienced stylist, has terrible communication skills that left me feeling unheard and unsure about what was happening and why she was choosing to do this treatment to my hair. It made no sense. I left looking worse then when I came in, and I will be going elsewhere to get what I wanted. Which wasn't rocket science, I wanted to go from auburn to light brown. Terrible customer service.
