Taryn Stare Photography

Taryn is the best! There is no reason not to hire her to capture your memories. I told her I wanted a winter wonderland maternity shoot and she was flexible with weather and did everything to get us to a great location and she took the most amazing photos! She made our dreams come true. Also, during the shoot she was very positive and encouraging about how to pose etc and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Thanks Taryn!!!

Taryn is AMAZING. From the first moment she made us feel at ease. She gave us instructions that created authentic interactions and so much laughter. She got us our sneak peek photos the same day! And worked hard to get the rest to us as soon as possible. Couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! She's so talented. 10/10 would recommend her to everyone out there. :)

I have nothing but great things to say about Taryn. I knew from the quick meeting of her at a friends wedding that I wanted her to do mine. The photos she gave were amazing and she gave them back so quickly. So when it was my turn I didn’t even look at anyone else. She responded quickly to my inquiry and set up a shoot on a day that worked for me. On the day of my engagement shoot in October, she was on time she was helpful with posing and the photos turned out amazing. She sent me previews the next day! Shortly after I got the full gallery. I have to stop myself from posting a new photo every day, there was so many to love. You’ll even get a fun kick out of following her on Instagram, not only do you see her amazing work, but she posts funny memes on her story that brighten my day. She knows how to be professional but also but a smile on all her clients faces.Thank you Taryn for your amazing work!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Taryn! We live in the US and were only in the area for a week of snowboarding, but we wanted photos in the snow for our one year anniversary. Unfortunately, the snow we had hoped for turned out to be mostly rain, but Taryn stuck with us through the nasty weather and took some awesome photos that we will cherish forever. She has an incredible personality that made us feel so comfortable, and that really shows in our photos! We would love to do another shoot with her if we find ourselves back in the area!

When I started thinking about what I wanted for my wedding, I knew photography was going to be the most important thing. I grew up with an amazing photographer for a father who documented my childhood so artistically through his lens – that I know how powerful and lasting a beautiful image can be. I immediately started searching for someone who had an aesthetic that appealed to mine but who would work with our budget. I quickly discovered this was almost impossible because that particular aesthetic comes at a very high price. That is why I couldn’t believe my lucky stars when I stumbled upon Taryn. Her photographs are stunning but more importantly, there is something charming and unpretentious about them as well. It is almost as if Taryn herself – or her essence that is – is coming off of the page. What I mean is, that Taryn is such a lovely person through and through. She is professional, easy-going, adaptable, understanding and (my favorite part) completely relatable. I have to say, convincing my now husband to invest in photography was a tough sell but he was so impressed with how effortlessly she coaxed the best out of our wedding party and families. He is so proud of and in love with the images she produced for us – meaning she can win over even the toughest crowds. The best part is about our wedding and hiring Taryn was that I was a COVID bride. There was a period of 2 years (from when my wedding was originally planned for to when it actually took place) that I got to see her talent emerge and blossom with each new wedding or engagement she posted. It was so exciting to see other couple’s photos that I loved so deeply and then to imagine what it would feel like to finally see her photos of our wedding. And she did not disappoint. Myself and my husband recommend Taryn without hesitation and with utter adoration. It was the best investment we have made as a couple and will cherish the experience and her images for our whole lives!

Taryn did our engagement and wedding photos and we were so impressed! Both my husband and I usually felt awkward getting photos done but Taryn made it feel so natural it was a really fun experience for us and we loved the pictures! Definitely looking forward to more sessions with her.
