Is Max Comfort still in business? I purchased a ‘new’ Goodman high efficiency furnace a few years ago, Christmas Eve. It was a crunch for time over the Christmas Holidays and having to borrow money from family, Matt encouraged a cash deal to save $. Matt also suggested a $100 cash ‘gift’ to the man who had to come in on his holiday to open the warehouse; which I did.Matt would not come until all cash was in hand which I made happen.Matt had to ‘tweak’ my thermostat to get the new furnace working.I’ve kept all of my text messages and it was just over a month after install the furnace began having issues with error codes flashing. This has been a consistent issue which Matt has come back for 3 times. One of which I had to pay (cash) for a cleaning. Last November, Matt claimed to have ordered a part. Although I have made several attempts to reach Matt; including a returned registered letter, I have not heard back from him. It seems as though he may not honour his Goodman product or his service (lack thereof). I am very concerned that this furnace may not have been ‘new’ after all. More concerned that this might be a fire hazard.

From the beginning to the end, a great experience. Matt was very responsive, professional and the services are very affordable (compared to three other providers). Good attention to detail and left the work area clean.Having dealt with many other small owner/operator business for other work in our home who typically under-communicate and struggle to meet the expectations they set ahead of time, dealing with Matt was truly a refreshing change, going above other providers in the service industry.Highly recommended, and I'll continue to use their services.

I had the unfortunate experience of putting clothes into the washing machine when I noticed a big trail of water flowing from the bottom of the furnace. Naturally, I panic and ask the Google machine what I should do. Max Comfort popped up almost immediately as they are nearby and have (well deserved) excellent ratings.Matt was able to visit my home the same day I called in. He immediately started investigating, found the issue, repaired it in no time. All in all I'd say the whole visit was less than 30mins and the issue is completely resolved.The pricing is fair and the service is professional. You will not deal with any pushy up-sells or baseless horror stories of massive damage and major overhauls needed.Very happy to have Matt and Max Comfort in the area!

Mat and Kyle were very professional, friendly and efficient. They were happy to answer any questions we had. Mat didn't try to pressure us into getting something we didn't want or need, something we very much appreciated. We won't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Matt and his team are wonderful to deal with.Scheduling an appointment to quote the job was easy and fast.Matt responded to follow up questions quickly and answered them honestly not trying to upsell products that were not needed. He explained things very well, and the installation was an easy booking and quick turn around timeline.

We had a furnace break down on us during the family day weekend. Placed a call to MAX comfort and within the hour on a Sunday evening we had the owner at our house trying to diagnose the problem and get us heat. Unfortunately, it was a big enough issue that required a new furnace and not a repair.I assumed being a long weekend we wouldn't have heat until Tuesday at the earliest. When I was asked, are we home and available with a furnace install on the Monday of a long weekend I was blown away. The down to earth attitude, professionalism and customer experience I received during the entire process from start to finish is very hard to find these days.I would highly recommend MAX Comfort with any of your HVAC requirements!

We had Matt out to quote us for a heat pump. He was knowledgeable, thorough, professional and had great suggestions. After showing us pictures of his work, we have no doubt he is the right choice for the job. We are excited to have Matt and his team back in the upcoming weeks to install our new Heat Pump.

Max did a very good job replacing my furnace. They were very polite and professional. They listened to my questions and always knew the answer. They priced what the parts would cost and the price for a new one. No pressure either way. Very neat job and great cleanup. Thanks again.
