A & A Doors & Moulding Ltd

We had ordered all of our interior doors and closet doors from A & A doors. This company was recommended by our contractor. The installers came and measured our previous doors. The new doors arrived very late and were kept in our house uninstalled for a month. When this company finally sent the installer to install these doors the man first installed the closet doors and those doors were cut uneven. He then proceeded to install the rest of the doors in the house. The doors were not cut properly so he had to sand parts of the door to make sure that they fit. When he took the last door to sand he accidentally sanded it too much so when you close the door there was a massive gap from the frame of the door and the door. At this point, we told the installer that nothing could fix this and we needed him to get us another door. He went to his truck and found a painters stick (the stick you get at the paint store to stir your paint). He snapped that stick in half, took his nail gun and nailed it to our door and said now just puddy it and it will be as good as new (please see attached pictures). We called one of the owners and explained to him what his installer had done. He proceeded to say, “If we wanted to pay premium prices they would have sent a premium installer.” The owner then hung up on us and after arguments back and forth we finally got a new door which still rubs on the frame (they all still rub on the frame). The owner had no remorse for the struggle that we went through and what we have to live with because we have an older home. He said that the issue wasn’t the installer or the cutting job but the fact that we had an older home and that if it was a new house none of this would have been in problem. I highly recommend you never buy your doors from this place.

Greeted me when I came in, while A-1 ignored me. A&a came to my house and measured the doors within the same day I came also they delivered the doors within the same week without any problems. I am very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them for any small or large orders as they have proven that they are capable of handling it.Thank you A&a, I look forward to working with you on my new up coming job.Regards,Harman Randhawa.

Bunch of lies from this place. When I cancelled my order after putting it on hold, I was told the doors were already made. Then made a phone call to the owner and was immediately refunded without the story of doors being already made. Do not recommend this place at all. Poor customer service and very cold staff.

Unacceptable product quality and customer service.If you want dented, scratched and frayed and chipped bottom of custom cut pocket and French doors mixed with delivery that is several days late, incorrect and mismatched door hardware with missing parts in open packages, no roller locks and no roller lock holes, 1 door cut to the wrong length, hinges installed on doors that do not match measurements given and non existent customer service that does not return call, emails, or texts, this is the place to go. Did they purposely lie to me again and again or are they just not competent.Take my advise, pay a little more and avoid a 1.5 week nightmare. Service man to drill roller lock holes is 5 days late and counting and still no response from customer service.

We had the worst experience with them that wasted a lot of our time and money, hence WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. The owners initially delivered the doors a couple of days late, then when they did they were too big (despite us giving the exact dimensions, obviously). Then when we requested via phone call that the size be readjusted, the owners acted rudely and proceeded with stalling tactics, “we’ll come in a few days”, “our guy will drop by this weekend”, etc. Then after 2 more long weeks when we went to their store, the owner acted in an extremely unprofessional & aggressive manner, even threatening my father to go out of their store.

I advice others not to order anything from these guys. They have absolutely the worst customer service. No one ever answers your calls. They might be cheap but I rather pay more to get my stuff on time and have a sales person that actually dose his job. They can only handle small order don't ever order stuff for new house, they cant handle it. This is the first and last time I will get anything from here.

Need to hire some experienced door prep person..I ordered front door. Not satisfied. Hinges and locks measurement all uncoordinated to hole. And dent and swollen at the bottom. Not good.

I would like to alert others about this company. I purchased some bifold doors and paid for it when went to load found out that he oversold one set of doors. He asked us to come back and pick it up after 3 days, it not taking into account that it will cost us gas and time to travel back. However, when we took the doors home found out that it is oversize and will not fit so i called their office the next day the person answering my call promised to return my call but told that it should not be problem. I hired a van and loaded all the doors in it and send it to their shop. The owner of the company refused to returned the doors. The doors were not open not damaged inside the original box and still he refused to take it back. Now i have set of 6 doors paid over $400.00 sitting at my house. I paid it with credit card have not call the visa yet but thinking of stopping the payment as he should have taken it back. I will never go back to this store and will not recommend anyone. The price is not any better than other stores and other stores such as A1's service is better and they take the product back with full refund if there is a good reason. They do not over sell the products plus they defiantly return it. .

Worst company to deal with, advise to others please save your time and money and don't deal with these goofs. Worst customer service, dishonest sales rep, rude receptionist delivered material after delaying two months and charged me for items that were not even delivered. Couple of the glasses was curved in French doors asked them to replace it and they told me to get it done from some other company on my own expense
