This restaurant is hands down anazing. The food is always fresh and fantastic and the service is pleasant and quick. I enjoy the many vegetarian dishes (my Boyfriend usually has the Jerk Chicken or goat) as well as the music. I especially like the servers anyways happy and pleasant to deal with. Fantastic place.

The food was amazing. Haven't had something like that in a long time. Very great atmosphere too.

This has got to be one of the most interesting places I've been to.Firstly, for anyone not living in the Lower Mainland, it is difficult to find authentic Jamaican / Carribean Food. This place absolutely hits the spot when it comes to food. So authentic, tasty, and they actually have legit roti! I have driven to White Rock before simply just to get Jamaican from PG's. As with most authentic and real Jamaican, be prepared to wait a bit, BUT it's worth it. My wife has had the coconut curry shrimp on rice but I'd lean towards ordering the authentic Patties as a side. My to to order (if/when available) is the goat roti. So legit. In terms of atmosphere, this place seems to have an identity crisis sometimes. Last I went, there was a DJ spinning tracks and live streaming in the late afternoon. Not a lot of space inside to dance so not sure that was about but it serves to show how PG's is somewhat attempting to be a heartbeat or spirit in the neighborhood. When I want Jamaican, I'm driving to PG's, no matter the distance.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Curried goat was spectacular and the jerk chicken Is delicious. Definitely makes you sweat. Even on a cold winter night this place will warm you up, very chill and friendly staff. 5 stars.

The food is absolutely incredible at PG’s. Our family loves the jerk chicken, house salad, and every flavour of Jamaican patty. Friendly service, clean restaurant and fresh food. I wish I could eat there every day. Thank you PG’s for bringing island flavour to White Rock. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The fried dumplings we got were hard as rocks and not fresh. Chicken did not taste fresh. Rice and gravy tasted good. Too pricey in my opinion as you get tons of rice and little meat for $25. Coleslaw had too much vinegar. Rum cake was not authentic as my wife is a Caribbean chef.

The jerk chicken was a bit more salty than I'd like, but other than that the flavor was outstanding! Also had the curry goat, and it was excellent as well. Laidback and friendly place which added to the experience. Portion sizes were nice, and prices were quite reasonable.

We had just returned from a Caribbean cruise and wanted some roti and oxtails that would compare to the flavours we tasted. PG’s had some great reviews so we decided to make the trek. The ambiance definitely gives off island vibes and we had to get a Ting to go with our meal.We enjoyed everything so much that we ended up ordering their jerk and stew chicken to take home for dinner later. It’s just too bad they are out in White Rock, we would be ordering on a regular basis otherwise.
