Islamic Centre of Markham / Masjid Darul Iman

My three kids were enrolled in the Summer camp, and I would like to just say that I was very impressed with the amount of activities, field trips, Surah recitation/memorization and just in general having a good atmosphere for the kids. The staff, teachers, administrators and volunteers were so patient and accommodating towards all the parents. I would definitely enrol my kids again and really recommend it to all the parents who are looking to have their kids learn about islam and to also have them make life long friends.

This is a very well planned Masjid that will become one of the best in Markham. With plenty of interior and exterior space. Please donate generously to help make the improvements.

Kindly note that the main entrance is closed sometimes hence take the exit situated at the back(east) in the blue colour door. Other than friday prayer, the door is opened only 15 minutes prior to every namaz. They offer 3 Friday prayers and the mosque is massively build that can have more than thousands of people at a time. They need a great donations to support the masjid construction and renovations. Very great speech in Friday prayer.

This is a wonderful Masjid. They organized a Summer camp for a month with so many activities and Field trips. My son and daughter really enjoyed MashaAllah ThabarakaAllah. Sister Aleena and Sister Nausheen who handle the 4-6 cohort did a fabulous job and Sister Iram and Sister Anam did a great job too. All the young Girls and Boys who volunteered were wonderful. I felt like this is such a beautiful way to get kids to come to the masjid. My children are missing the fun already Jazakumullahu Khayran Sheikh Nabeel who is a pillar of strength to the community. Very organized inside the Centre and outside giving guidance for Parking. Good job by Management, Volunteers. Served snacks after the Prayers, nice gesture.Well done!!!

Masjid is run by a group that CANNOT MAKE A simple decision. Whether it be to remove garbage bags from the front yard or to ALLOW volunteers to meet up to improve the building, they will conduct meeting after meeting and decide on NOTHING.The Masjid is a community centre and is not a sole property to control.Many many people from the community come together to make this place run smoothly but the management at Masjid darul iman is only interested in being in positions of power and not making any real changes.However, there are many wonderful programs run by dedicatedmembers of the community.evening and Sunday school madressah and hifz classes. Many programs for men,ladies & youth.Large area for parties,weddings get togethers etc.Very clean and maintained. Ample parking space.Outdoor sitting area by the ladies side.Basketball nets for indoor play.

It's a large pray place with educational facilities and sports halls. It's under construction and hopefully would be one of the largest congregation of about 10 thousand. In need of funds and help to serve the community and people's in need.please add Salam timings to your web page.

Finally a community based mosque to call home:We have been SO impressed by the level of dedication and effort this mosque brings in creating a community. My 4 year old could spend all day here. The teachers have so much patience, the imam has so much charisma, the worshipers are always smiling. I cannot wait to see what’s ahead for this mosque.
