TENOCH RESTAURANT
This place is absolutely amazing. Probably the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had in Toronto. I picked up a few tacos for lunch and have been coming back ever since and this place has never disappointed. Food is priced well, great quality food. Full of flavour and spices. The salsas are my absolute favourite!!Staff here is extremely friendly and welcoming. Don’t speak English well so please be patient with them but I love everything about this place. Would give more stars if I could.

Overall the place is nice, the service is really fast and they are kind. I give them 4 stars because the beans wasn’t what I was expecting but definitely I would come back.

Food & Drinks are good. Service is okay, nothing to wow you, but there's people around to get your order and bring whatever you ask for. I have been to this place multiple times and I always felt like they were overcharging me. Today we dine in and finally I understood what they are doing and yes, it is overcharging people. We were a party of 2. Have 2 beers, 2 cocktails and an entrée each one. The bill came up to be over a $100 which I was surprised because it didn't make sense to the prices on the menu. I paid the bill, tip them 15% and then the server fastest reach out for the bill fold. I asked her to give me the bill. When I looked at the bill I noticed she just went ahead and add a 15% auto gratuity. At no point she informed me and she let me paid, seeing I was tipping her again. Pretty smart eh? I called her out of course, she pretends she didn't know what what's going on. She got me $12 dollars back (what she charged on the system) but they keep the $16 I tip on the credit card terminal. I work at a restaurant too, I know how the restaurant softwares/credit card machines work. She put that there was 6ppl at the table, so she can charge the auto - grat. That my friends is call stealing. Be aware! Yes, tipping out is part of the culture in Canada. Yes, most places do have an auto grat policy for parties over 6 ppl. If you don't communicate that to people that's scam. Come on, you have a decent restaurant you don't need to do this. Shame on you, ladrones. Tengan cuidado gente, revisen bien las cuentas antes de pagar. Te cobran 15% de propina automaticamente y aparte esperan que les den otra propina cuando pagas con tarjeta.

You can enjoy a very good authentic Mexican food there. Staff are nice. The lady (guess the restaurant owner) is very caring.

Great authentic Mexican food, great ambiance friendly staff, Omar was very friendly and patient taking orders from a party of 10, we chose different plates and they were all great! If your looking for grilled non spicy chicken they don't have that option, would be a plus if they had more grilled chicken options

Hubby and I went here for some Latino eats on a Saturday night. It took about 30 mins for the food to arrive. It was worth the wait. The steak torta was delightful, shrimp ceviche was tangy and fresh, and the tacos looked amazing (a bit cold and slightly underdressed for Pastor tacos I’m used to). Otherwise a great time. Music and ambiance is very traditional Mexican. Wouldn’t change a thing about it. It feels like a Mexican home.

Amazing tacos! Such a cool authentic vibe. The tacos were unreal - I got the pastor and bistec with cheese and they give you a whole plate of onion, lime and cilantro.
