Life Labs is highly recommending that people book appointments, for their lab work, online. I've been doing that for a while now, and had booked an appointment for today.This particular location Life Labs location seemed rather busy, with people lined up outside, but also rather disorganized. There was no attempt to manage the line outside. There was no signage indicating whether those with appointments should just go in, or should wait in the line. I did go in, and there was a lineup even inside. It was also taking a very long time to deal with the person at the front of the line. Time was going by, and my appointment time was coming up, and they do say that if you are late you will lose your appointment time.I did eventually get to the desk, and was told, as I had noted people before me in the line we're told, that they were behind today. I'm not sure why they were behind since the booking system will only allow a certain number of people to be booked for a given time slot. I can only assume that a number of walk-ins had been taken, and did that had put them behind.Different people were being told different amounts of time for the delay, when you had an appointment. The automatic booking screen, which shows your appointment time, if you have booked, and also times for walk-ins who have made it in and been booked, was showing appointments that were half an hour prior to the current time. The time that walk-ins would have to wait to expect an appointment was showing over an hour.I wasn't told a time that my appointment would be delayed. I was simply told to sit down and wait. The waiting area was completely full, and no chairs were available. In the end it was about a half an hour before I was called to the desk and my paperwork was reviewed. At that point I was directed to a room, and waited in the room, although a technician did not come immediately. The situation overall seem to be quite disorganized. When the technician did come with my paperwork, she did not have the normal appointment card reminder card that is normally given to you when you have a standing order. When I mentioned this she did go and get it, but that also delayed things.As well as the blood work, I had to get a urine test. The staff seem to expect that I would simply want to take the sample cup home, and return it later. That wasn't the case, I was prepared, but I had to ask where the bathroom was and no instructions were given about where to leave the sample. As it turned out the only bathroom that was available was the one with the sample pass through cupboard, so I used that. Hopefully someone does collect it and my sample is not simply wasted. I wouldn't be surprised given the lack of organization of this location, if that happened.There was no security, or management, of the line outside. There was no security, or management, of the waiting room. Obviously no one was paying attention to how full the waiting room was. There was no signage about lines, or waiting room space, or other pertinent instructions to the messy situation. The walls were of course plastered with notices to wear a mask and advertising various Life Labs products.

I had a requisition but my doctor didn’t stamp it with his name. The lady was very rude, “ look at this” she said to me. Not my fault that the doctor didn’t stamp it. No sorry, come back again please. Proper office etiquette, please be aware of your mannerisms. Please, thank you and sorry shouldn’t be difficult words to use. Even a simple good morning. Thank you.

I had an appointment with this lab, as soon as I got here. I had to submit my lab requisition form via email and then I was asked to move into a compartment for the blood work. Service was prompt and the lab technicians were amazing. I usually have a hard time for blood work however Amar did a fantastic job, she was quick and efficient! I forgot my watch at the clinic and the next day when I got there, she had put everything in a bag for pick up, ready to go! I have been here several times and this place has never disappointed me!

I went there for my blood test. And the staff is extremely rude, arrogant. No Hi,Hello, Sorry, please.Lady came for my blood test and left, provide no guidance what to do next, where, when to go for urine test. So disappointed.I understand your work, stress level, but it should be your responsibility to provide a good and happy service so that if somebody is having a bad (or stress)day, your good service can help them to at least think of some positivity, happiness for sometime.I will never suggest this life-lab to anybody. Very rude service.

Dirtiest life labs I've ever seen.This place is disgusting. I was sent to room #4, bed wasn't made, bags full of dirty masks were hanging on the coat hook so I had to hold my jacket the whole time and there were dry blood spots on the floor. The “Nurses” also seem miserable at this location.

Unprofessional staff, booked an appointment ended up having to wait 3 hours anyways to have my blood taken. Had someone take my blood and dig around with a needle in my arm for a vein, two weeks later my arm is still aching. Go to a different location.

Very unprofessional staff. We went for bloodwork there twice last week for my son he is 6 year old and they don’t know how to take baby blood. It was so painful for him. He never cry that much for giving blood. Today we went again for me and my husband we have done blood work at 120 and 84 I know how much it’s hurt. It was so much painful for me and my husband after giving blood he was feeling dizzy and I told the lady at the front she is like I am doing something wait a minute they don’t even care so don’t go this location. Worst staff . Rude staff and vey unprofessional. I would rather go on king George or 120 and 84. Never again here
