Saint Dominic Parish, Oakville

Very Warm and cordial Atmosphere, attended my Easter vigil Mass, Great message and made me feel welcoming.

I rarelycome here. I would rather go to Saint Patrick s on Kendall on Burlington. Google maps thinks icome here because i drive past this church everyday

They call themselves christians? they are the most un-christian like parish of all. I have never been more judged in my life. I talked to the woman who deals with baptism...I was inquiring about baptizing my 4 month old baby girl. The woman had a terrible attitude, completely judging me over the phone for not being someone who attends church every single week, but then the real issue came when I told her that I am not married to the father of my child. What should that matter whether I am married to my baby's father... or whether he is in our lives or not... he is but that's beside the point. The pure judgement and attitude, and then she proceeded to inform me that she was unsure if my baby could be baptized.... This is supposed to be the house of God??? Christians??? How incredible welcoming! how incredibly forgiving and non-judgmental!..to not even welcome an innocent baby that has entered the world and to make me feel completely awful about it...mortified and embarrassed about it? I got off the phone and I cried, I was with my mother and sister and I felt embarrassed...and slightly ashamed. I have nothing to be ashamed of..I have a beautiful, precious, baby girl, a child of God, I am asking to have baptized. All mighty God would never turn away an innocent child, someone who is asking to be baptized. Shame on me? no... Shame on this woman.... You would think they would hire people who radiate christianity... not rude and judgmental people that belittle others and make them feel worthless.

World Day of Prayer led by the committee of women from Oakville who organize it every year. Good music. Good fellowship afterwards. Good Prayer Service designed by the women of Slovenia. Welcoming and gracious. Very prayerful. Highly recommended to attend this annual event. Enjoyed the sun streaming through the stained glass!

Good place of worship.Parish Priest is very dedicated to the communiity.

A well knit community of faith and work to keep us close to Jesus, his word, his grace and his everlasting love. Come and See!

This is just a review of the facilities of the church and not of any service or mass provided. Generally has ample parking space and if more is needed it can spill into the primary school which shares the same lot. The church is clean and well maintained with multiple entrances, washrooms and an attached hall for functions.

I enjoyed the mass.Great experience.

Cried here cuz it was my great aunt's funeral, other than that it was cool
