The menu was extremely intensive.Almost wanted to complain that there were too many things to choose from, and everything seemed appetizing.Food and service was very good.Really likes the restaurant set up with lots of TVs, and personal TVs at each booth.The bar itself was very spacious.

This was actually my second time here. Very busy and popular spot in Ajax, fast friendly service with decent food. Kinda like a sports bar setting. Great for hanging out with friends and colleagues which is what I did on this occasion.

As a lover of chicken wings, especially pub style chicken wings, this place is easily my favourite. The wings here amazing! There’s such a huge variety of flavours to choose from. I usually stick with the spicy gar park and the bbq ranch. The dill dipping sauce is a nice added touch that adds an extra level of flavour to the wings. I suggest coming here on a Monday for half priced wings. This place is always packed so get here early.

4 starsMy most recent visit to Portly Piper pub was on the busiest day of the year St Patrick's day.We arrived there before 6pm and it was already packed. We checked in with the hostess, and they took our phone number and told us we would receive a call when our table is ready. We waited about 20 minutes, and the hostess decided to give us a seat in the back of the dining room.My wife ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner $18 which comes with greek salad, rice, and lemon potatoes. The rice portion was rather small compared to the large helping of Greek salad. The chicken were grilled cubes from skewers rather than chopped grilled chicken breast. The chicken was cooked well, done and a bit dry. There is tzatziki sauce to dip the chicken.My order was Garlic Jalapeños chicken. It came with Greek salad as well. The dish consists of a breaded chicken cutlet covered in garlic and buttery Jalapeños sauce. A generous helping of basmati was provided for this dish.We ordered 2 pints of Coors light $6.50 each. The bill came up to about $55 taxes in. Overall, we enjoyed the food however the St Patrick's day crowd was a turn off. Lots of loud, obnoxious, drunk people. If you want some delicious traditional pub food give this place a try. Their food has never failed us yet. Prepare to wait on Fridays and weekends.Updated review3 starsLatest visit on June 10, 2023. We came here after watching a movie. Saturdays are chef's specials and $20 rib and wing combo.My wife ordered the korean short ribs $21, and I ordered the Supreme Chicken $20. The short ribs came with potato salad and sticky rice, which was not cooked properly too mushy. You get 3 full racks for beef short ribs. The ribs were seasoned well. However, some parts were chewy.The supreme chicken was a big disappointment. You get a half roasted chicken stuffed with a little bit of feta cheese and spinach. The dish was very underwhelming and lacked seasoning. The chicken was dry and would have helped if there was a sauce on top of the chicken. I was very surprised when the food came out so fast. Kind of wonder if the food was made for another table and then served to us.We usually enjoy their food, but this time, the food did not meet our expectations. The total bill with 2 pints of Coors light came up to $61.02. Maybe this was an off day for the kitchen, because the table across from us had to send back their order because the prime rib sandwich was raw.I hope they take note and train their kitchen staff to season the dish properly and ensure it's cooked properly. I will probably come back but maybe in a few months or so. Too expensive now.

Ok so I really wanted to give this place higher stars. However, here is my honest review.When we arrived it was busy! So it took us few minutes to be acknowledged. This was no big deal, however once seated it took quite some time for our server who seemed swamped to come and even offer us a drink. Everyone's food was quite good, however unfortunately my food had a hair in the salad.Our server quickly replaced the food but did nothing for our bill so that was quite disappointing. I would have thought that my meal only would have been complimentary or discounted. (The replacement had no issues) I had the chicken souvlaki.Anyway we didn't complain and our server was very nice. I think that the slow service was just due to the amount of people at the restaurant.The onion rings I will say were very tasty. I tried my kids. My kids and husband were really happy with their food.

This is the best sports pub we've been thus far. Very busy place and loud. The food is very good. Had the lobster dip for appetizer and seafood linguine for dinner. Wife had the avocado and strawberry salad. Service was fast considering it was very busy on a Thursday evening. Staff were friendly and courteous. Has patio seating. Glutten free menu available. Wheelchair accessible and parking is free.

So I really wanted to give this place a good rating however the plastic in my food was where I draw the line. We placed a online order 5:39pm the food did not come out until 6:40pm. I kept asking how long they kept telling me it was coming and that went on for 30 minutes. The quality of the food was good until I found plastic wrapping in my mash potatoes. I lost my appetite after that unfortunately.

A main go-to in Ajax. I have visited several times within the past five years. Large menu with a variety of options to provide whatever you're in the mood for. Despite the menu size, I have had no complaints about quality of the dishes. All have been overall good! Fair pricing for food options and excellent prices for drinks. I have had attentive and friendly service on every visit. Admittedly, this location does get quite busy and loud at times. However, there is a lot of seating and many TV's if that's the purpose of your visit. I would recommend dining here!

Food is great! Big menu so there's lots to choose from but it's a BUSY place so wait times may vary other than that I have no complaints
