Mabel is a highly skilled stylist and an all-around sweetheart. What I appreciate most about her services is that she truly puts the effort in to work with you, helping you figure out what you want. She is a good listener, and works with you to come up with a co-created plan for your hair. If you are anxious about changing things up, she compassionately meets you there. Anytime I’ve given her my trust to go with her instincts, she has always come through with something great. Don't hesitate to ask questions - she will meet you there and you’ll co-create something awesome! I don’t give my trust easily, and I’d trust Mabel with my hair any day. Highly recommend!

All I can say is WOW! Having recently moved from the mainland I was on the hunt for a new salon and boy did thrive deliver! Erin was so welcoming and respectful and incredibly nice! She gave me quite possibly the best haircut I’ve ever gotten and went out of her way to explain to me what she was doing and why and how to style it. I get very anxious going to salons for various reasons and I didn’t feel anxious at all. I found a place I’ll look forward to going back to. Thank you Erin for such a fabulous experience.

I’ve been coming to Thrive Eco Salon and booking with Mabel for over a year now and it’s always a wonderful experience. Whether I’m there just for a trim, or in the chair for 3+ hours, I always feel looked after. Mabel is so attentive and always makes sure I’m comfortable and happy. I trust her so much that when she offers an idea, I take her up on it and she’s always right!

I had a fantastic curly cut with Sophie yesterday! After 30+ years of battling my curls, Sophie convinced me to embrace them. She didn’t just give me a great cut, she talked me through everything she did so I could feel confident doing it on my own. I was skeptical when I left that my new style would hold but a whole rainy day and a sleep later I feel as fabulous as I did leaving the salon. Bye bye frizz, hello curly confidence. See you in 3-4 months, Sophie!
