We went to Port Hardy on a last minute whim. Asked a lady at the Red Apple for dinner recommendations and she said Sporty Bar & Grill. We weren't disappointed. Got to watch hockey & football all while having prime rib (yum!) with Yorkshire pudding and a Caesar wrap, also yum. The donuts for dessert were the best donuts we've had in a long time. Highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, there has been a steady decline in service and food quality. If you're looking to drink, then maybe this is your spot. The food used to be really great.

Hey, it’s a long long road to the True North Island and this is a spot that respects your effort. Professional service, good beverage choices and several enticing menu options. My first choice was their jambalaya. I was impressed to find these flavors so well done on The True North Island aka Port Hardy.

I didn't have any food on my first visit. I came in to check out the atmosphere and have a couple beers. Everyone was very friendly and the food People were eating beside be looked tender smd delicious. There were a few tables but not to busy and everyone seemed in good spirits and were enjoying there grub.
