Good service, we walked-in to order take out and picked up hainanese chicken, beef laksa soup, and a Malaysian curry chicken and roti. Really enjoyed everything, the laksa was so fragrant, no idea if that’s traditional but it was delicious. Roti was not greasy at all but still was super flaky. We would come back!

Amazing! Ba Out Teh is super tasty. The soup is so rich. Other dishes are great as well. Skewers are great as well. Highly recommended.

Not a huge fan of the food. Service was quick, but the meal was sub-par. Granted the spice and flavour was there from the recommendations of the curry beef brisket, but the pieces of meat were very fatty and the roti left more to be desired - especially with cost of one piece of roti at $4. The mee goreng was not what I had imagined. It was a bit too salty and not enough of the sambal taste. The satay beef and chicken were middle of the road as well.

Was gonna give it a 4 star but things changed at the end. So I come to this place once in a while but I know this place for a super long ever since the old location. The quality of food is still very good knowing the curry beef brisket is golden with rice or Nan. Had the Fried rice noodle and the lemongrass chicken which were okay... but what changed my mind to a 5 star because the young gentleman instantly prepared changes for my bill which surprised me. And this surprised factor deserved an extra star so going beyond my expectation.

Got all hyped up by the overall rating and menu items, but the quality of the dishes ordered (Nasi Lemak and Assam Seafood Laksa) were below average. Definitely won’t get your money’s worth.

Great place for Malaysian food! Always come here to have their curry chicken or beef brisket either for lunch or dinner. This place has been here for many many years and it’s still very good as a family owned restaurant. Other than curry plates, shrimp noodles, fried rice or noodles are so good as well. I bet you will not regret coming here for food but the place is not big so get prepared to come here early or wait for a bit during rush hour. Price is good too. I will definitely come here again when i am around the neighborhood as I live pretty far from Scarborough!! Thanks for having this restaurant and i’ll come again soon!

I don't see how this place compares to the likes of one2snack. Sure this place serves food out fast, but if you're willing to compromise taste and authenticity for speed then by all means come here. I would not. Had the Asam laksa, but it's nothing like an authentic Asam laksa. Barely had any fish flake, taste like a very watered down tomyum soup with tamarind.Sorry , but this place does not represent authentic Malaysian food. Quick and friendly service and very reasonable prices. Flavour-wise they aren’t very salty or heavy, but still adequately tasty. The food was not as greasy as you’d expect takeout to be. For a slightly healthier takeout option at decent price, this place hits the spot. Meal in the picture was a total of about $30

I was there last Sunday, it was my first time, I ordered the curry beef brisket and rice, food was out very fast like under 3 minutes, but the rice was not hot and the beef was old and they just microwave it and was at most warm, not something you expect at 12 noon lunch time, my 2 siblings ordered noodle soup and it was pretty mediocre, I guess that's the best you can get at that establishment
