Very helpful and friendly staff. The assortment of products is perfect, not so much that it's overwhelming but enough to give you some choice. It's clean and well set up.

Awesome pet store! My chow chow “Buddha” loves going to his favourite store to pick out a treat when we go in for dog food.He is like a kid in a candy store.He truly looks forward to going in and picking his own treat. He carry’s it home and waits to eat it on our patio.

All the staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable! We have been taking our dog to May for regular six week haircuts at this Main Street location for over 10 years! She is so friendly, the absolute best groomer and most importantly she truly cares about your pets! Great location!

I worked here for four days, and it was pretty awful. I wouldn’t recommend anyone shop here as they have poor values and don’t treat staff very well. I have previous experience of two years working at Pet Valu at which I was very happy. We had many regular customers who praised us for being knowledgeable and helpful. At Pet Valu in Airdrie, I immediately got an unwelcoming vibe. Other staff were not very welcoming and didn’t seem to care about the genuine wellness of people pets. They are rewarded for recommending their store brand of foods when that’s not always the best way to go based on your pets needs. The manager would constantly have you doing something even if it didn’t need to be done. I like to work for places that are honest, and as long as everything is done that NEEDS to be done you can do as you please. No need to act entitled, you work at Pet Valu. The manger, Melissa would sit at home on her day off and watch the sales numbers and told the other staff members to tell me I need to be on the register more and treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about even though I had years of experience. Nothing worse than being belittled by someone who thinks they’re better than you. I did not feel comfortable around these people at all, and I made no attempt to act like I was after the first few days of being treated with little respect. After the second day I knew I would not enjoy working here in the slightest and planned on quitting. I found it quite shocking when a co-worker told me I would be sued if the store cat (Stewie) and the cat for adoption had gotten in a fight. These people need to understand that accidents happen, and stop acting so entitled. It really blew my mind. If the cat you let roam around in store is aggressive, maybe don’t let it roam free. They seemed to care way more about how the store looked than about the customers. My recommendation would be to focus on customers needs and show some real care for their pets, then maybe they’d have more loyal customers and more business in general.

We recently have been trying to call to book an appointment for grooming and the staff have been so rude including the in house lady who does grooming. Have no idea what’s going on but every time we call they hang up and the lady who does the grooming is so rude and unprofessional over the phone. Unless you want to be yelled at over the phone for trying to book an appointment, do not go here. Give your business somewhere else.

Exceptional service, friendly knowledgeable staff.The staff always carries out my heavy dog food.Today I had a return which I certainly didn’t expect to be refunded I suggested they donate my purchase but the manager wouldn’t hear of that and credited my credit card.That positive interaction certainly insureds that I’ll buy all my dog food there again and goodbye to Amazon.

I don't even live in Airdrie and I love this store. Candace is incredibly knowledgeable and selects the best items, my pets always love them! It's very apparent that they're passionate about what they do here & truly love animals.

Nice staff, decent experience, I love when they have cats available for adoption as you can give them a little love when stopping in for pet food. Sometimes not in stock for what you are looking for but lots of options so that's good.

Candace Amelia was the absolute best staff there. She helped me dress up my new rescued pitbull to the nines. Full of information and great tips. Go see her if you want the best
